Decent set meal at affordable prices, but be careful of small add ons that add up.
Overall, good price at town.
Ordered:
1. Pumpkin soup - think it’s decent, not too creamy which is nice. Taste is ok.
2. Bread roll - while soft and warm, it is lacking in flavour. Wouldn’t add on.
3. Teriyaki chicken sandwich - really good, must try. Crispy bread and flavourful chicken.
4. Iced americano - normal, feels coffee machine dispensed.
Spent $15 for a soup + sandwich + bread roll + coffee set. Located at basement of Raffles City, it’s pretty convenient and a short walk from mrt. There are plenty of soup spoons around Singapore anyway.
Love the ambience and food at this outlet. Will definitely return for more great soup experiences!
Ordered the monthly specials' A Florentine Midsummer Night’s Beef Stew. The soup was thick and flavourful. It had bits of beef chunks, potatoes, carrots and other spices.
Although seatings are limited due to the COVID-19 situation, thankfully I did not have troublesome finding one during that weekday afternoon.
Soup Spoon has changed to self-service for quite a while and there are no table service, so I wonder why are we still charged for service fee.
