Hai San chicken rice is one of the best roast chicken rice I took until today. The caramelised spicy roasted chicken wings that my husband favourite. I ask the uncle he said he use chicken stock and fat to cook the rice and some special sauce that makes it so fluffy. I love the char siew fan the char on the pork is so well burn and not bitter at all it gives you a bbq taste and more rice please!! and chilli

Very tasty char siew and fragrant rice! Been eating for more than a decade and their staff are very friendly. 🙂🐖 Their free soup is savoury and has chicken chunks in it too.

I know you've seen Anthony Bourdain visiting Xanadu and it appears to be Tian Tian Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Center. The fact of the matter is that good chicken rice is to be had all over Singapore. One of the best exemplars of the roasted chicken variety of chicken rice is to be had right here in Tiong Bahru Food Center. Hai San Chicken Rice moved here from Henderson Market where they used to be for years. The photo that is posted is a photo of the old stall. One of the must-visit stalls in Tiong Bahru Food Center!
