If you want to try some of Indonesian traditional cakes, you should come here. As Indonesian people, I'm quite surprise that in Singapore has a store that sell our traditional cakes like talam, onde-onde, pulut serundeng, etc, and its taste really same in my country.
Oleh Oleh is like a fixture in Parkway Parade. It situated near the entrance and offers limited seatings for cafe sojourn. The grand lady of the shop is friendly and engaging. The food is authentic although prices have gone up through the years. The potato curry puff (epok) is my favorite. Started at $0.50 per piece and now it is $1.40 per piece. The nasi lemak is another delight. The coffee is average but the ambience is spacious and spatial. It offers you a chance to stand and stare at the passers by at Parkway. I hope that they remain open for many more years to come.
Epok Ayam sedap! I’m not a sweet cake kinda guy but I like their curry puffs (epok). The chicken meat is sweet which gives you a tasty blend of sweet and savoury!! They’re usually sold out by midday.
