Passed by the restaurant many times on my way to Golden Mile Food Centre. Finally tried the Foo Chow fish ball soup. It did not disappoint, the fish ball is plumpy with a nice texture and bits of pork inside. The soup is piping hot, light with a hint of vinegar. The small soup is $6 with 6 fish balls, I think there are $8 and $10 size too. You can also add noodles to the soup, or buy the fish balls to cook at home. Will be back to try other selections on the menu. They have both inside and outside seatings.

The old school red rice wine mee sua is tasty with mild sweetness. The small portion at $6 is sufficient for one but not much meat from the chicken pieces. Good to order a mixed soup of handmade Foo Chow fishball and dumplings as side dish, perfect. The fishballs has the Q-ness unlike the mass-produced kind. Order at the table and pay cash when the food is served. Went during lunchtime, almost full house but no need to wait for a table.

Red wine chicken mee sua was tasty, but could use more wine in the soup. It’s one of my wife’s favorite dishes and she says this is the best one she’s tried in Singapore so far. Foo chow fishball was good! Prices were affordable as well.

Quality Fu Zhou fishball soup! The fish balls and dumplings are freshly made and have a very tangy bite to it. They also serve great red wine chicken mee sua, a rare traditional dish these days. My only gripe is that for $6, the portion is slightly small. Nonetheless a great bowl of fishball soup!

Ordered the 2 dishes that seem to be the most popular, i.e. fuzhou fishball noodle and red wine chicken mee sua. The fuzhou fishballs are really bouncy and full of flavour, different from the normal fishball out there. The noodle has nice texture and not too salty also. The red wine chicken tastes quite mild and it can be stronger but it's quite comforting. They're $6 a bowl

Came in Saturday evening. Not very crowded and the place does have the nostalgic look. Ordered red wine chicken rice noodle soup and foo chow combination. Both tasted great and a very good price. Thumbs up.
