Had dinner over the weekend at this shop. Pretty authentic HK tea shop delights served here. Ordered a fried rice, 2 milk tea and a vermicelli soup with chicken cutlet and eggs.

This was Curry Beef Brisket with instant noodles and fried egg and a Spicy Prawn noodle with egg, plus 2 very big Pineapple Buns 🤤

Found this HK cafe at the basement of Centrepoint and the buns looked really good. Wait staff were mainly elderly crew, so it’s nice to see they hire senior citizens. Egg tart was surprisingly the BEST I had in SG so far (my preference).
The crust has layers and crispy, the sweetness of the egg was just nice, not too sweet.

Decent HK street food, especially happy about the curry fish ball.
Egg tart and Bolo bun also quite nice.
Definitely recommend to visit if you’re around and wants to get authentic HK food :)

Honolulu is One of the few cha Chan teng style cafes that has good overall range of hk food
Not much changed since they opened a few years, today had the tomato soup based macaroni with all the toppings added
Also added peanut butter French toast , which turned out to be too much for one person
