Impeccable service and attention to details as expected of every Haidilao branch. They hire and train some of the best service staff which I can only compare it to Japan level of service excellence.
As usual, the soup base is has that standard Haidilao taste and the selection of dishes is remarkable. The marbling of the meat, the freshness of the vegetables and selection of dipping sauces are to be commended.
Of course, all these comes at a premium price. At Haidilao, you'll expect to pay an upward of $100 to $200 for two person if you are to order their best selection of meats. However, during my recent visit for lunch, they seem to have adopted lunch sets which proves to be more economical and it has a balance of meat and vegetables.
Safe distancing measures are taken seriously but at no cost to the staff service. Highly recommend this place if you crave for chinese hotpot.
Brought my daughter for Hai Di Lao lunch last weekend to cheer her up…. While she shared her problems with me, she cried & that caught the attention of the service staff whom was assigned to serve our table…
She brought back a plastic bag that contains a toy…. Later she came back with a paper bag full of robots & pop corns…. When we finished our meal she came with a plate of cut honeydew 🍀
Before we left, she told my girl in Mandarin “Dun be sad. Everything will be fine…” Her caring touch really warmed my daughter’s heart & also made her feel so much better.

Great service, great food as usual. We made a lunch reservation around 12.30 on a Sat, but there were still tables for walk ins.
Recommend their chicken and tomato soup base, it’s very flavourful but not too rich, which means you can drink refills without feeling gao.
For their cooked food, their fried mantous are good but the fried nian gaos are must tries!
Finally can dine in group, great ambient for noisy chatty group. Food was fresh and soup were great but felt that service is a tad less intensive but I like the tone down version. Overall good experience, will be back.
Decided to eat HDL for New Year’s Day lunch. Tried calling since New Year’s Eve to book but couldn’t get through at all. So we just walked in at about 11.45am and miraculously got a table.
As the place was busy with the New Year crowd, the service was not as attentive as usual but it’s still acceptable and in fact, always still beats most other places.
Our favourite soup base are always mala and 三鲜 (Three Delicacy) and we’ll have it in the quad pot configuration as it’s more economical than having the same 2 soup bases in a half-half configuration.
HDL is known widely for its service experience and this outlet truly embodies it. I have visited this outlet twice and it was both during the Covid period. Despite the safe management measures, the experience was still excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff members here are always friendly and quick to help. Only negative would be that the toilets are outside. Due to the size of the outlet, seating capacity is also limited and hence, a possibly longer waiting time.
