One of my favourite old coffee shop popular with chicken rice, and roasted duck rice or wanton noodles stall. The noodles is of the right textures and not overcook, the wanton for the soup is of good size. The place can be crowded during peak hours, do go early if you’re going in a group.

First visit. Ordered duck rice and duck noodle - $11 altogether. Meat portion is good as in photo and noodle is cooked to perfection. Went after 1 pm, no queue and plenty of seats.

We tried the Wanton noodles and Duck noodles. Very yum. Old school coffee shop, well ventilated with nice lounge music 😂. Will come back for more. Total bill $13 with a drink. 😋

After Chin Mee Chin opposite, we popped in here for another nostalgic meal of wonton noodles and char siu and roast pork rice. We have been eating here since 1980s, when we were living nearby. The wonton noodles really taste old school, with QQ noodles and a hint of pork lard. The char siu are good, though the wontons now are a bit too ‘doughy’. The roast pork and char siu combination was tasty, and the bowl of slightly herbal soup enhanced the dish. They have another stall selling roast and steamed chicken in the same coffeeshop, but we decided to come back in a few weeks to try them instead. The music they play is also quite eclectic, and mostly from the 80s.

Nice char siew wonton mein (sweeten roast pork, with minced pork dumpling with noodles). Reasonably priced considering just about every food item has gone up in price. Was 60 cents & 80 cents back in the early 70s. Today 6th May 2022, $4.50. Good portion of noodle & chill ketchup combo sauce with oil ... whoa nice ! Nothing left behind even the soup. Four stars only because of sticky floors but that is unique of this nostalgia food stall that was the only Chinese resturant selling roasted meats, chicken rice & noodles.

Good old 1970s coffee shop with good food and surprisingly cool jazz music :). Duck and roast pork were tender and flavorful. Will be back!

My go-to wanton noodle and roast duck place. Have been patronising this place for 30 years give and take. If my family was dining in, we would always order an add-on plate of steam chicken to complete the meat platter. There is a kids friendly option with ketchup and dark soy sauce for the noodles too.

Original old school interior. Not the cleanest, it’s like old days coffee shop. The roast meat and duck are pretty good. Try the noodle whether its wanton or duck noodle etc. The roast chicken is good, I did not try the chicken rice.
