Very affordable. Good for any consumer even if you are not a vegetarian lover. Unlike the usual "vegetarian" food. They also serve different toasts set at reasonable prices below $4, not like other stalls toast set that cost $5.80 and above with very small portion. Ever since they added the different TOAST SET to the menu and renovating the store lay out. The ambience is clean , calming and wonderful. Be it for lunch, in between tea break or meeting up friends for a chit chat session. This is the place to go. If you do not have a good day, go there. The environment will let you enjoy the peace, food and sense of happiness. Love it, cos their staff do not talk loudly, It is quieter.
Used to visit the eatery quite frequently and was impressed by the extensive menu and the dedication towards food presentation. Sadly, the high standard seemed to have tapered off recently, with food served lukewarm and unpleasantly presented. Most impressed by the Hainanese pork cutlet rice, which managed to capture the taste of the non-veg version quite accurately, and the taste and texture of the deep fried mock meat was quite close to the real thing. Other notable dishes: truffle broth ramen.
This vegetarian cafe serves vegetarian noodles and rice. Most items contains eggs, if you’re Vegan, do check with their staff when ordering. Or else it’s clearly labeled on the menu card.
Had a late lunch over here. Tried their Hainanese Pork Chop Rice. It comes with a fried egg. Took the set with black coffee.
I’m amazed with the newspaper lining that reminisces old hainanese feel. At least they bother with some presentation.
Some items are not available from the menu/sign board - which is a little disappointing and I hope they can clearly label in future.
They are usually quite crowded on weekends and lunch hour. You are encouraged to clear your own table.
Prices are reasonable for a cafe in a mall.
