Authentic Szechuan spicy hotpots with right balance of numbing n chilli tastes. Good food quality n cosy environment. Unfortunately the smallest food serving size feeds 4 pax of which is a bit too much for a couples. Slightly more pricey than other competitors, however their food quality is better too.
Best hotpot in town. Best for meat lovers. The meat quality is better than Hdl. Everything is authentic.
Order the medium spicy soup base to get the right amount of numbing tingling sensation. Do be careful of the dragon heads (they do get hot).
The signature spicy soup base is really really taste good, for people who love China authentic flavour, this is the one you should try. Spicy but goes well with the hot pot fresh ingredients and the signature ready mix dipping source for customer who prefer pure enjoyment but not complicated sauces.
The location is at the other end of Robertson Quay, so it wasn't that crowded that you expecting at Friday night. Three of us get our seats right away without waiting. Is a spacious restaurant and that's out door seats as well. Simple deco, but who care while we enjoying the hot pot that much.
Nice view, decent and cosy place. Food is good and fresh, very authentic. Just a tad pricey given the other hotpot options available.
Used to visit hai di lao for my regular mala fix, until i've visited Spicy House.
Really authentic mala soupbase & various other yummy non spicy soupbases.
