Tried the chendol with red bean. Chendol is smooth and soft, and the red bean is not mashed. Overall not super sweet.
There could be line at times. Probably best to eat there as the shaved ice melt quickly but I saw some takeaway orders.

This is probably one of the most popular franchise brand dessert stall which open in many hawker centre Islandwide.
But not all have the same great taste and portion of ingredients. This stall do served quite a lots of ingredients from standard to adding red bean, sweet corn or durian topping.
With great flavor of coconut cream and gula melaka was the soul flavor of this desserts. Even the standard version is enough to give you the wonderful flavor of South East Asia flavor. Only $1.50 ofr standard version, and $2 for other 3 flavor.
This stall is have slightly different serving quality than other franchise stall. But you must eat fresh instead of take away, otherwise the melting ice turn the dessert to a watery drink.
Very fast service , the Gula Malaka was rich and flavorful.
Got 1 red bean and 1 corn version.
Both tastes great !
However, the whampoa branch still feels a bit better in quality and taste profile.
The best chendol so far. Heavy portion of gula melaka and coated red bean . There are always a queue but move very fast. I do recommend eating there and quickly before everything melts.

Have always visited this store when I felt a strong craving a good bowl of chendol!! The jelly is soft and filled with pandan flavour and the gula melaka is so flavourful and pairs really well with the coconut milk.
The portion is generous and really hits the spot!!!
The chendol (green strips) has a fragrant and lemak aroma. And the gula mekala is authentic. Enjoyed the original and durian flavor. For those who like it less sweet, you can request and it is equally umami!

This Durian Chendol come in big pile of shaved ice, drizzled with thick flavourful Gula Melaka and heavy coconut milk giving a smooth and pleasing texture. The pandan jelly paired well with the Gula Melaka and topped with a scoop of luscious durian puree giving this dessert a creamier texture.
One of the best chendol i tasted, the palm sugar was caramalised till it has a slightly bitter taste. 1 portion is 2 dollar, it's such a gem.
