The beef is positively the best I've ever had in a Korean BBQ restaurant. Love the interior - very chic vibes. Good service from the attentive staff too. Will definitely return!

Reservation is crucial to get a table. A treat from my sweet daughter. We were first in line at opening hour 5.30pm. Staff were young and friendly. Unlimited replenish of side dishes and vegetables. Quality of pork and beef were superb. Cold noodles was the savour for good digestion. Heard from my child their pancake is the best but we didn't order for today. For 3 paxs , spend around $138 is a bit pricey. Overall still a good place to get a bite on Korean BBQ.

this place has one of the best korean pancakes ive had in singapore. i love korean pancakes but its always difficult to find good ones that are consistently crispy on the outside yet chewy and filled in their insides... love the option of ordering half kimchi & half seafood to truly indulge in the best of both worlds. both flavours were super consistent in the crispy exterior texture ❀️‍πŸ”₯ the insides were filled with generous ingredients, especially the seafood pancake with shrimps! the thickness of each piece made it super chewy and basically a wholesome experience of savoury flavours bursting in your mouth ✨ i would recommend having the kbbq too, as it comes with amazing sides and veg wraps to go with the bbq meat! their meat is tender and savoury too; would prefer less seasoning on the meat but overall still ok πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Had lunch on a weekend. Service is great! The staff helped us to cook our meat. Probably because the restaurant isn't crowded during lunch. Will still recommend a reservation just to be safe. Food-wise, I ordered Set A. Meat was perfect and reasonably priced. I would have given a 4.5 stars if I could because the cold noodle is a tasteless and the pancake was abit too oily for my liking. Nonetheless, Food taste is subjective so this place deserves a 5-star nonetheless.

This place "transported" you back to a typical BBQ restaurant in Seoul.. Overall the food is fresh and marinated well. The kimchi soup is superb and the famous pan cake is a must order. The best pan cake we tried so far..

Entering Wang dae bak pocha, it felt like we were transported into one of the bars on Itaewon Street. The restaurant's decor is authentic, raw and homely all at the same time. The staff was welcoming and quick to serve us. After selecting our meals, a series of 5 yummy banchan was served within 5 minutes plus a metal tin of fluffy korean short grain rice. Korean eateries never seem to make you wait for food long. Not long after the main dishes were served. We chose the set lunch with an additional side dish each. The standard 'never go wrong' kimchi pork stew and a hearty bowl of ginseng chicken. Our sides- fried dumplings and seafood pancake. Kimchi pork stew- standard as ever. Not anything special. The ginseng chicken however really blew us away. The meat was off the bone tender. The soup was homely and mild, the hint of ginseng and sweetness of the red dates - perfect. The rice however (we were told it was stuffed glutinous rice) tasted and looked like normal rice. It had no glutinous chew to it. Dumplings and pancake were decent. Conclusion: value for money place with decent quality and good service.

I just realised the first time I eat is the wong Dae bak (not pocha) So the differences is Pocha has Fried chicken. The menu is the same. Do note that the grill plates and sides are different too. At pocha, they grill the kimchi and beansprouts and is yummy! 1st visit: Extremely awesome dining experience. They have generous sides and it’s really yummy. ESP the kimchi, done just right. The pork is sweet juicy and tender. I would definitely definitely come back here to dine again. Highly recommend. 2nd visit: Awesome dinner, tried their cold noodle this time, Add sauce, sweet sour and just nice with lots of ice and chewy noodles. The first meat is good, second one slightly dryer. Friendly staff as usual. Will definitely come back, one of my fav Korean bbq now. Personal preference. Prefer the 98 amoy street cuz of the corn and egg Foc sides being grilled πŸ˜†
