Reviews Ajiya Okonomiyaki Restaurant

We opted for the safer table without hotplate in front as we were outnumbered by kids! However, the kids still managed to enjoy by just "designing their own patterns" with mayo and sauces!!! Definitely a place to play with your food! The food was very agreeable to our tastebuds and we found it great as there are many "hidden" veggies in the okonomiyaki...great for "veg-averse" kids! The crispy crunch on the outside vs the tasty creamy ingredients on the inside was an irresistible combination. (It's also healthier than pancakes drenched with chocolate!!!) My favourite was the century egg kani tofu... totally yummy!!! Oh and the kids enjoyed the meat okonomiyaki and fried chicken pieces(ordered a second one). Service was super as the staff were very attentive to our needs! A cosy find for post-playdates or just a quiet afternoon catch-up with the BFF.

Wondeful little restaurant! Food is simply superb - okos are very fresh and juicy. Pitan tofu with crab meat is an outstanding dish - must have. Gyoza are very tender too. Service is very good too. Imagine you visited your family or friends for a feast dinner - experience will be pretty much like this. I am definitely coming back!

Stepping out of Singapore’s heat & transported to Japan with friendly service & good food. Must try the century egg tofu, mentaiko potato + a good & cheap sampling menu!

Foods nice, service is good what more can you ask for. The kitchen staff that served me and my mom even apologised to us when she thought she accidentally burned the okonomiyaki but we found it quite tasty and even if she did, it was forgivable since it was lunch peak hour. Loved the garlic fried rice as well. Would come again :)

Had my birthday celebration at Ajiya and they went out of their way to make it memorable!!! Thank you staff at Ajiya for the 'blackout' hahaha i really was surprised when the cake came out!! :DD All of the food was delicious! We had fried cheese mochi, meat lovers okonomiyaki and yakisoba! Mochi was very tasty and had me craving for more! Yakisoba was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The star of the show which was the okonomiyaki was THE BEST i had ever eaten(i have also had this in japan but Ajiya wins hands down!!) Will definetly come again!!!

Tired of the usual noodles and rice meals for lunch, we decided to go for something different, Okonomiyaki! I specially love the vegetables delight with kimchi, spinach and mushrooms. They serve really yummy sides too especially the shio karagaae that is on promotion now. The chicken is so tender and flavorful and is free with $30 spent!

It is the best Okonomiyaki that I have ever had in Singapore! You are able to DIY your own ingredients and they were so delicious. We ordered other side dishes and a couple of drinks. Will recommend you to come earlier as there is no reservations. All parties must be present before entering. It can be quite packed during peak hours. Highly recommend!

Came for dinner and was greeted by a very friendly auntie. Ordered the Okonomiyaki with Pork belly, octopus and Prawn as it seemed the most authentic and worth combo and had them cook it for us. Honestly, you could do it yourself and save 10% as they use a sand hourglass as a timer for each side. The okonomiyaki was very tasty, although it does feel very salty after eating half of it. Prawns and octopus provided a very nice texture. Rather pricey but the batter is definitely delicious. The pork gyozas were okay, pretty average. The garlic rice was decent, although it could’ve been hotter even though it came very quickly. It just felt that it wasn’t made fresh, but I could be wrong. Overall, would come back once more just to try other stuff but probably not too often as it’s quite expensive.

This place is amazing other than finding car park is difficult. Very cool vibe of the store. Food was amazing and I love the okonomiyaki. Very delicious. Staff was friendly. Their drink are great too. There’s a limit of 1 hour 30mins for dining. Highly suggest to order early as it may take sometime for food to be ready. Highly recommended.

Ordered the seafood $17 and veggie $14 okonomiyaki. You can also opt for the diy option if you don't mind the waiting time due to limited counter seats. The price is slightly on the higher side due to restaurant setting but overall experience is good. Would recommend if you're in the area!

Lovely okonomiyaki and great service! Get 10% off if you decide to cook it yourself. The garlic rice came recommended but we thought it was just alright. The potato cheese mentai was yummy but do note that it's just slices of potato with the cheese mentai as a topping. Drinks were free flow but we didn't manage to finish even one cup. The ambience reminded us very much of Japan!

Ordered the Okonomiyaki and was given a choice to cook by ourselves or the service staff. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, we chose the latter. It was an interesting experience to see the service staff prepared and cooked right in front of us. Next time we would do it ourselves for experience. The Okonomiyaki has 3 indigents of our choice but were kind of overpowered by the cabbage and sauce favour. Overall, an above average food in a nice environment and an interesting dining experience.

Very interesting experience to make our own DIY okonomiyaki! Can even get a 10% discount in the process. The vibe - sitting around the okonomiyaki grill - is actually reminiscent of Japanese izakayas and Osaka okonomiyaki houses. The fact that we can make and eat our own okonomiyaki just makes it very fun, and a welcome distraction to the stresses of day to day life. First timers can get a free drink / appetiser (up to $5 value) on the house too! We got a bonito flakes tofu thing which was really delicious. Overall a really lovely experience. We will be back!
