First time trying porridge from this stall, super love it! It’s cheap and uncle was very friendly ❤️ Ordered the pork offal porridge 猪什粥and added chilli padi into the porridge for extra flavor 😆 awesome comfort food!! will come again to try other porridge. Advise to come early :)

珍源's laksa is a must try if you are at Geylang East Market & Food Centre! The gravy is super delicious and addictive. However, do note that this special dish is only available on weekends and public holidays and may get sold out early due to its popularity, so do head down early to avoid disappointment! Also, highly recommended to add on (加料) their pork liver which is soft, tender and extremely flavourful!

Constantly strong and non acidic coffee. Always order "Kopi-O di lok" (coffee with no water added) Unit 01-05, facing blk 116. Not the most popular stall but good for us, which means no queue 😁

Lot of nice local food here. Famous stalls like fish soup at the corner nearer to the coffeeshop, always pretty crowded with an invisible queue, sometimes has to wait for almost an hour. hokkien mee and nasi briyani here are good too. The dessert stall their red ruby is a must try.

A Teochew Fish soup stall popular and good quality preparation. Prepare to Q at least 40 mins during peak. A pig Haslet stall (pork & stomach,, liver salted vegetables - is nice and reasonable price. Quality better than must operating at food courts. Worth a try if it's your kind of food

This is still the traditional hawker centre which is my favourite. Compared to those modernised hawker. E.g. Yishun Park Hawker Z My key point: Many of the stalls already start preparing their store opening as early as 4 to 5am. Unlike modernised hawker, you start to see store opening only after 10am. ----- You can really find all sorta of food varieties here. I simply love these older generation food stall owner attitude in running business compared to those younger generation, and it's quite sad to see how this saying "Early bird catches the worm" is gone with new generation running the modernised hawker center

Nice place for breakfast, the lontong from Indonesian Food House is the one you need try......the gravy is super shiok. Equally good are their soto, mee Siam and mee rebus. Yummy! Revisited for takeaway. The tasty and generous serving of economical bee hoon from Xiang Kee, delicious glutinous rice from Teochew Kueh and the soft and fluffy you tiao and butterfly from Soon Soon.
