One of the better indian food I tried. Mee goreng is flavourful, not your usual red colouring mee goreng. Prata is fluffy and nicely crisp. Teh tarik is not overly sweet and has a good balance of tea, milk and sweetness ratio. Abit sad that the prata bomb is not as nice as the last time I ate it here. Now less sugar/butter already...not as shiok la.. but still, very good prata.
One of the best Satti Porru/ Patti sorru i have tried. Group of 5 shared 4 pots of Satti Sorru. We tried Black Pepper Chicken, Sardine/Ikan Bilis, Mutton Masala and Prawn Masala. Teh Halia was amazing. Everything else looks good too. But wasnt able to try, will definitely go back again!
Had the chance to drop by at MaRaj restaurant for its famed Paati Sooru. Had previously tried ordering via Food Panda and finally had the chance to dine in to enjoy their Mutton Masala Paati Sooru.
Restaurant is quite small with around 8 tables inside and around 5 tables outside. You get the chance to see the chef in actionprepare the Claypot Rice. But be prepared to wait as there is only 1 chef handling all the gorengs. But it's definitely worth the wait.
The mutton masala Paati sooru, each is sufficient for 1 person or can be shared. What's good is the portion of mutton pieces is generous. Also had the Sambal Chicken Paati Sooru, but the chicken portion is abit lesser. Taste wise both are delicious with the Mutton has a better edge.
Will definitely visit again to try out their Briyani and other Gorengs.
Ordered King Murtabak (chicken and mutton) via foodpanda. It is very good! It was not what I expected because they put green peas in it, but it's surprisingly good. The curry is super spicy but good. They packed the murtabak in aluminum foil, not like the usual Indian Malay restaurants packaging, impressed.
Wondered around little india in the morning lookong for roti prata and found this 24hr eatery. ordered egg prata (average taste), plain prata(average taste), Tissue prata(good), mee goreng (very nice!)and roti bom (a bit too sweet, no harm trying, tasty though... )
Average sgd3-4 person for a breakfast like this, enough for three ppl.
