Ordered the boba brown sugar milk, found it nicely balanced, not overly sweet, and boba was tasty and chewy. Queue happened to be short and only took less than 5 minutes to receive the drink. Compared to the other bubble tea retailers, I have to admit this is one of my favourite brown sugar milk teas! The shop is also directly connected to city hall mrt.
Finally tried this, for the longest time been seeing people dapaoing multiple cups in MRTs. Had the brown sugar creme mousse boba + pearl ($5.3). Queue to order and queue to collect were both fast, couple of minutes only. The brown sugar taste is very strong, if you don't like brown sugar you won't like this. It is literally not everybody's cup of tea. I personally loved the boba (big pearls) and pearls (mini pearls). Texture is less chewy than Koi's. Not sure if they have tea without brown sugar, shall check that out the next time I visit.
It's so popular and there's always a queue. Too bad it's cash only payment. No credit card, no NETS, no Apple Pay. Just cash. They know it's 2019? Maybe that's the reason why the queue is so long; everyone is fumbling around for cash and coins. But I digress. Their signature bubble tea is nice. I prefer this to Starbucks's frappucino anytime
The boba (bigger pearl) mousse milk tea is the best, small (pearl)and big boba combo is a hit and miss. Quite pricey though compared to koi and Liho ... $5.30 per cup, cant choose size of big or small. Only one size. No sugar level to choose from too, because its brown sugar, you cant control the sweetness level.
Nice little shop front situated at the opening of the subway exit. Easy to find . I guess the craze was over when I visited it on a weekday evening . The brown sugar is very pronounce and the milk is creamy and fresh . The boba as they call it is chewy. Overall a very good cup of drink . I try for the sake of trying, however I would not mind to have another when I happen to pass by.
Another great Taiwanese bubble tea joint that serves authentic Taiwanese bubble tea. Really well known for their brown sugar drinks and publicized in Taiwanese variety shows for their products. A very strong flavored drink especially good for those who have a sweet tooth. Variety is comparable with local Koi, Li Ho and Gong Cha. So it's another option for bubble tea lovers who wants to try out new drinks. Price wise is comparable with the local brands too. Overall a good alternative to try on.
Got the brown sugar boba milk ($5.30)
Though I went on a Saturday afternoon, there was no queue. Waited around 5 mins for my drink.
The brown sugar syrup is fragrant and you can also taste the flavour in the chewy boba. The milk is also nice, not some plain tasteless one. Overall one of the better brown sugar milk I've tried but I wouldn't go out of the way just to get this.
