Ever since the days that I have been eating here, I have never been disappointed. Overall good quality has maintained, various types of curry all has its uniqueness and not super spicy. Makes me want to eat tons of rice to go with the various delicious curry (even though my current diet is cutting down on carbs). Only thing is their beef rendang is slightly on the dry side so would prefer if can be more tender and soft. Overall, would definitely recommend for curry lovers.

An authentic Nasi Padang restaurant in the central area. The curries are rich in flavours.
Price is on the high range but given the location, we suppose it can’t be too cheap thou. Worth a try!

It had been a few years since I last ate here - the very first time I did was at the old Rendevous Hotel in the Rochor area - and I was looking forward to lunch here with my brother-in-law. The food did not disappoint, and the taste was almost as remembered. The begedils were large and full of flavour, while the sotong was fresh and cooked perfectly. Overcooked squid can be rubbery, but this dish was really good. The brinjal was also tasty, and came with chilli on the side. The chicken curry was good, though the chicken pieces were smaller than expected. The beef rendang was, surprisingly, our least favourite, as the pieces were hard and the rempah not too tasty. The cucumber salad went well with the various curries and rice. Overall, the price was reasonable at $48, and service was efficient. Ordering is easy - you select the food and quantity you want at the counter in front and staff will bring the dishes to your table.

As an overseas visitor to Singapore, coming here is a fantastic cultural experience! With a name like this, you wouldn't expect it actually served up excellent Indonesian style Nasi Padang?! There are great varieties and prices are reasonable for Singapore. My personal favorites are beef rendang, korma chicken, begedel and lodeh. Their chendol is creamy and delicious too. For visitors to Singapore, apart from the usual chilli crab, bakuteh etc try to add this place to your list as well. The service is friendly and very efficient.

I haven't been to this restaurant in 30 years. They have since moved to Clarke Quay. The food remains the same. My favourite are the jumbo shrimp. We also stuffed ourselves with sayar lodeh, curry vegetables, beef rendang, baggadail. The place was quite empty despite the good food and view.

I had been passing this place for years and wondered how they could survive in this rather low traffic mall . All doubts are clear when I finally give it a try . Given it's restaurant settings , prices are alright in my opinion. I love how the place are run by local staff and a sense of nostalgia kick in . First you ordered your food in front at the display window The lady will serve your food in a big tray on her shoulder and present to you. Food quality is tip top . Beef Rendang is tender . Spices are on point. Curry gravy is filled with coconut milk fragrance. Even sambal goreng has mid size prawns in them. Attention is to the details. If you see the crowd in a Sunday afternoon , with local Chinese , Indians and some Indonesian Chinese here. You know this place is a winner . View is great too if you had the window seat . Clark quay and the river is right outside. My Indonesian friend whom join me give me that thumbs up. I know it's great.

You can definitely get better Nasi Padang elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. Even the white rice is ridiculously priced at $1.70. However, this restaurant is a unique place full of heritage. I love the old-school tables, chairs, tiles, menu and even the staff uniform. I’ll bring my foreigner friends here in future.

Great place to bring your foreign friends who loves chicken curry but cannot take it too spicy. Its peranakan cuisine. Very delicious. Had it since i was a child when its situated opposite to Cathay Cinema.
