Came to this place for lunch. Wanted an Onion Uttapam but it wasn’t available. Ordered a veg rice set and a side of vadai. The rice set was good, served with sambal, cauliflower and pickles.
The vadai was okay. Was soggy and not crispy.
The Masala tea was great!
My husband and I were finding for a fine Indian restaurant for dinner. We came across this restaurant when passed by the alleyway of beautiful murals of Indian Kathak dancers.We stumbled upon the amazing murals and clicked some pictures then headed here to have our meal. I ordered mutton briyani and my hubs ordered mutton set meal. The mutton briyani is definitely to die for🤤...Quick service and reasonable price. Will visit again for sure..
Decent food. Tasty enough, with authentic chennai touch to the dishes.
I had fish curry meals (meen kurry saappaadu) and fried fish. Both were good. Fry was not freshly fried, but served from the glass shelf - like that of food courts. Meals came with 4 side dishes, sambar, rasam and buttermilk. All in 7$, its one of the best value of money.
Restaurant is clean and hygenic. Staff are friendly tamil people. Recommended.
Masala Dosa- my first authentic South Indian food! The paper-thin rice/lentil dosa was filled with mashed potatoes, coriander, and mustard seeds, rolled up, and served with three different chutneys on the side. It was the first time I ate with my hands, what a strange and wonderful experience.
Prasanna’s opens earlier than most of the restaurants in Little India, but not all their dishes are ready to go in the morning (for example, the prawn masala). The beautiful murals on the way to the restaurant are a definite plus!
Nice restaurant.. authentic Tamil food.. good quality and quantity.. price is bit costly but worth it..small restaurant.. located in little india.. staff is very kind and friendly.. have a great time folks.. cheers
