Tampines Round Market - Singapore - Photo album

It’s called a Round Market cum Hawker Centre cause the stalls are arrange in a circle and one has to walk around to a specific stall. I heard a lot about the Fried Carrot Cake with good reviews, however I personally find it too wet and soggy taste! The Sarawak Kolo Mee has a long queue early morni
When I stayed in Tampines some years ago, I used to visit the round market regularly. Even then, the Sarawak Kolo Mee stall was already one of the most popular stalls there. There's always a queue, just depends on how long you are willing to wait. As I was there early today (7.20am), I only waited 5
Had Kolo Noodles for breakfast. Literally cheap and good. Have to queue though. Dumplings are flavorful, sizeable, fresh. The noodles chocked full of ingredients - pork ribs, deep fried wanton, dumplings, char siew, mushrooms, veg... My wife had mee kiah and a you can see in the photos also packed u
This stall has good curry especially the curry fish head but try it after the CNY as it's not available now. Nasi padang style but chinese cook !!! Try their signature sambal sweet potato vegetable, local variety, absolutely addictive.
The hawker centre is for breakfast and early lunch crowds as most stalls are closed by early afternoon like 12.30pm. The thosai stall has great thosai and the curry was good! Also try the Chinese dessert stall, which has nice warm desserts.
Visited this round market at Tampines which is has unique round structure that house a wet market and food center together. Unfortunately most of the food stall has closed by the time I was there.
This is an extremely popular hawker center in Tampines for breakfast with long queues on many stalls. For us, we’d recommend: 1) Yi Le Shu Shi that sells all kinds of kueh eg soon kueh, chwee kueh etc 2) Song Han Carrot Cake with prices from $2.00 3) Nasi Lemak Specialist @Street 11, and 4) Teo Kee
Long time never come here already, come back here to eat the usual economic bee hoon stall. Long queue as usual. But honestly, there's not much food choices here for me. Remember last time I come here was for the prata shop beside the market that was more popular.
