Ananda Bhavan restaurant is located in Little India on the Serangoon road in Singapore.
The restaurant is the perfect example for one place for all meals kind of decision.
The restaurant serves different varieties of Dosa, with a mixture of ghee, masala, rava, etc. along with Sambhar, Coconut chutney, tomato chutney.
One can also find options to choose from Roti, Naan and sabzi, extending to rice options too.
For beverages, the place offers coffee, lassi, butter milk, etc.
The ordering process is hassle free, you receive a number denoted stand from the counter and are suppose to place on your table. The staff will spot you based on the number once your order is ready.
Not a bad place. There is a room for improvement and hygiene. But food taste was good, especially onion rava dosa. Bajji was soaked with oil
Delicious indian food and huge quantity.
The restaurant is vegetarian and has boards and signages explaining why vegetarianism is important to mankind. The food portion's they give is huge and tasty. All that for a reasonable price too. I recommend getting the beetroot pongal, rice meal, mysore masala thosai and the combo set. All of them are extremely delicious with huge portions.
I really enjoyed the traditional and authentic coffee.
They need to improve on their hygiene a little.
Overall, an amazing place to eat indian food.

Varieties of vegetarian items with reasonable price. One of the crowded hotels in Little india neighborhood. It have branches in the serangoon road itself. Lots of verities, vegan options, no onion garlic options and jain options are available. South Indian North Indian and Malaysian vegetarian food
Visited Anand Bhavan since there was a long queue in front of MTR. We ordered sambar vada and onion dosa. Overall food was served quickly, was well prepared and not heavy on your pockets.
One less point since some of the items on menu were not available.
Good food..affordable rate..tiny place but do give it a try for cheap meal and tasty at the same time.
Do try appam and coconut stew ( a different combination some might like some might dislike but try it)
