I had the best experience at the hotel. The room was clean and there was a great view of the city. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I can't wait to come back next year.

Before it is due to be taken over by Hilton Singapore Orchard on March 2022, Mandarin Orchard was having a promo so it was a deal not to be missed. With the great location and low price, it allowed for a wonderful staycation. A great regret that the earlier SG$100nett per night offer was missed The 3 different rooms types of Deluxe, Superior Deluxe and Premier were the same size but with some differences in the rooms. The room with the best bathroom is the Premier Room with the wider and longer bathtub versus the older and smaller bathtub in the other 2 types. Due to COVID-19 Safe Management Measures, the Pool is only open to 5 persons per 1 hr time slot. However, the pool is only opened from 7am to 7pm daily and closes whenever there is rain. The gym is opened for longer from 6am to 9pm but is limited to only 2 person in there per 1 hr time slot. Also, users for either the pool or gym must be registered staying guests, not visiting guests. Breakfast was originally at the Chatterbox restaurant and it was awful with the food being cold and salty. When it was closed for renovation in preparation for the upcoming takeover, In-Room Breakfast was offered for those with breakfast inclusive in their bookings. Although the breakfast items for In-Room is similar, surprisingly, it tastes much better. The best of which was the Nasi Goreng Istimewa with Triple Sunny Sideup Egg. Yummy! Overall it was a great stay at a hotel with wonderful service and spacious room space at an affordable rate. Docking one star because of the shower over bath setup, which is very dangerous as it is a tripping, falling and slippery hazard. With prices for Hilton when it takes over the 2 towers showing up on the Hilton website already, this may be the last stay at this building given the high prices. Those are definitely prices that are all out to make up for the losses of these 2 years of COVID-19.

Spent my bday weekend with Mandarin, overall stay was pleasant and really value for money. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and they are slated to convert to Hilton wef Mar 22. I believe they have adjusted the prices (?) so do adjust your expectations as well. My room was on the 26th floor, no bath tub sadly but I couldn't hear the reno at all. Room is clean, view is great. Albeit there were some other minor inconveniences - only 2 lifts are in use. Waiting time during peak hours can get long, might also have to wait multiple rounds for the lift to come again since it is too full to squeeze in. No breakfast buffet - food is delivered to your room. Check in process also took awhile. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay. All the staff were courteous and Ms Kana who handled my check in was really sweet. :)

Everything was so perfect! It was one of the best staycay i had so far. They are currently renovating so the lobby is a little small, hence only 1 person can be there to check-in and the other guest(s) will be ushered to a waiting room. The queue moved relatively fast and mostly slow due to fussy customers. Was served by Kana Kanaki and her service was the best. In fact, while queuing, i was hoping to get her because she looked so friendly and was the fastest among 3 . The check in was very smooth and she took note that we were celebrating our anniversary and hence gave us an upgrade to the premier room & with MBS view!! The rooms were really big and i loved that the aircon is adjustable & true to temperature and it could go as low as 10/15 degree. My past staycays were not so good becos the aircon were either central or not cold enough, but here, i felt like i was having a mini winter. 10 stars for this! Although amenties were closed due to the renovataion, im so excited to visit once everythint is ready! Will definitely be back again. P/S: The stay was on 3 Feb 2022 and at that point of renovation, the entrance to the lift lobby by walking is at mandarin gallery mall entrance.

Stayed here afew times at end of 2021 as I managed to grab superior deluxe room at a very good rate. Check-in It was quite a maze to get to the check in lobby, had to take a lift up to level 5, walk quite abit to another lift lobby to go up to level 8 for check in. There are several holding areas due to safe distancing measures and unfortunately it was so fully booked that they couldnt provide late check out. They offered a free upgrade from superior deluxe room to premier room which was more spacious but without bathtub. As one of my stays was for my birthday, they provided a 500g chocolate cake (very yummy!) delivered to room right after check in. Check in staff was polite and courteous even though there was a long queue for check in. Rooms Superior Deluxe Room This room had a bathtub big enough to fit 1 person. Comes with a comfy bed, big desk, and a big heavy sofa. Premier Room This room was much spacious than superior deluxe room, instead of a big heavy unmovabke sofa, this room had a moveable comfy sofa bed. For some of the rooms, the television was placed at a weird tilted angle as the front of the bed was actually a wardrobe. The fridge could fit quite alot of snacks and cakes that we bought from Donki. The rooms also comes with many socket points, and also has afew USB sockets so you dont hve to bring along your adaptors. It also has 2 bathrobes in the toilet. Generally both types of rooms have something for you to place your luggages or bags on. Also came with ironing board, iron, torchlight, and indoor slippers in the wardrobe. Swimming Pool You have to book a slot to go to the swimming pool due to safe distancing measures (please check with the lobby staff for their latest safe distancing measures). It's quite small so I didnt get to try it out. Deliveries We've had Mcdonald's delivery and also GOMO delivery. McDonald's will leave the food at the check in lobby, and Mandarin Orchard staff will call the mobile number (that you used to book the hotel with) to cone down and collect your food. Whereas GOMO delivery (from SingPost) will call you directly to come down for collection to ensure direct delivery of SIM cards to you. For all delivery addresses, we've put Mandarin Orchard's unit number. Amenities As this hotel us located at the heard of orchard, there's many different food and shopping options available. Common shops that we'd go to such as Mcdonald's, Mos Burger, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Don Don Donki, or even foodcourts are all within a few minutes' walk. Check-out At check out time, the lifts were all fully packed and we had to take the lifts up just to go back down. Luckily, the check out orocess is quite fast - just fill in your email and some details, then droo the room cards along with the form into the check out box, and you're done! Overall, I really enjoyed the few times that I have staycayed00 here. In Jan 2022 it had rebranded to Hilton, so Im not too sure whether the same service quality and staying experience will be continued.

Amazing experience and worth the price. Yup, it was a bit noisy due to the renovation but so far I was happy my stay there. It could be a little inconvenience to access to the hotel but once you know where to get in, everything were fine! Will definitely make my trip back there!
