Enjoy the buffet with my staff, total 12 of us. The service was good and waiters were attentive and polite. International buffet and Christmas season, the food spread was good and with festive touch. The dishes were well cook and delicious, especially the drunken prawns! The deserts were good too. It value for money. The Hotel has a very beautiful and unique Christmas tree. Well done!
It is always great to feast with my family, and of course, during Chinese New Year, all the restaurant marked up their price.
Search in some food app and found out there's a buffet lunch with reasonable price.
However, it is not really cheap but is the most worth compares to the other places.
The Ferntree Cafe
Buffet Lunch - $32 Nett / Pax,
Chinese New Year festival food spread without Yu Sheng
Came here for Sat lunch after 2 years. There is no crowd. Only a few tables were occupied. Service was attentive & fast. Price for the buffet is abt $64 for 2 pax. The variety was good. Cold dish: crayfish, boiled prawn, scallops, smoked salmon. Has kueh pie tee, prata with fish head curry, herbal prawn, tempura, laksa, ham craving etc. Has yogurt ice cream dispensed from a machine (not scoop) which is a surprise. For soft drinks, they have coke zero too. There are hot drinks also, dispensed from drinks machine. Coffee is freshly brewed using freshly grounded beans (not those already brewed & put in flask type). Has variety of desserts: bread budding, cakes, almond paste, mango pomelo sago, cut fruits, durian pengnat etc. For this price, i would say it's value for money. Parking is still expensive. Paid $6 for abt 2 hours.
