The banh xeo took 25min. Omg worth the wait. The shell is indescribably fragrant and crispy 😋!! really like the bun cha as well. Its meatballs and marinated pork go very well with the thick vermicelli. Everything here is sweet. The herbs and lettuce barely balance those out, but I feel slightly more healthy munching on some of those. The taro sticky rice as dessert is ok.

Managed to drop by Comnam to try some Vietnamese food, especially my beloved Bánh Cuốn. 3.5-stars (ambience/ cleanliness) Namnam is just beside it and both menus are housed together and served by all the servers. I luv their Saigon theme with red lanterns and kakis uniforms with communist cap. 4-stars (ordering) Basically, just sit on any empty tables and chop/ reserve the seats with your non-valuable items, write down yr orders on the order slips provided on the table. Proceed to the table to make the payments with the order slips. Cashier ask if I prefer to have my dishes served one by one or all at once and I chose the former. 4-star (the services) Servers were efficent as the place were abuzz with dinner crowd but servers still managed to do a good job, directing traffic and speaks good English/ Mandrain or in Vietnamese as most staffs are Vietnamese. Servers also does a good job serving me the right dishes even though I had shift table after I went toilet once to wash my hand... Took a few minutes between every dishes to deliver which was perfect pace. No rush. Cashier advised me to Chè Khoai Môn after I asked for advice on authentic Vietnamese desert. ========= 4-star (overall for all food) Camnam's Bánh cuốn taste closer to what I eaten in Hanoi though still cannot beat the silky feel in Hanoi. Their Bánh Xèo taste delicious and I will be back for more. 1-star (Viet Iced Milk Coffee) I did not order but believes should be the same as Namnam at Wheellock Plc. 3-star (Saigon special beer) Nothing wow about it but can beer served ice cold taste good. The "special" is a flavour/ variety of the brand... maybe, that's why it taste better than certain regular flavours at supermarket... or its the temperature...? 3.5-star (Bánh cuốn) The Bánh cuốn taste closer to what I have eaten before in Hanoi but cannot achieved the silkyness I taste. Unsure if its because street food was served immediately after made? The condiments are the same but served in hearty proportion for a shorter Bánh cuốn. Some may luv it for the generous fillings. Temperature is just enough for a warm meal. Few differences lies in, 1) there's no Chả lụa served with my Bánh cuốn, and 2) the sauces are served with it and not separately. 4.5-star (Bánh Xèo) Wow, taste like I am in heaven. The egg crepes taste crispy yet, fluffy om the inside with generous serving of BBQ pork belly, prawns and other condiments done just right. The BBQ pork is very thick and tatse more like Korean BBQ which may be good for some, like myself. Use my hand and wrap the egg crepes with leaves and herbs provided and yummy, ;-p 2.5-star (Bún chả) Dun like the sauce as taste more dilute, compared to the recent ones that I have in Vietnam... Neither a fan of the thin slices of (already cold) BBQ Pork, Fied Popiah (spring roll) & meat pie used as meat condiments... I would have prefer if they just gives me (piping hot) BBQ pork as the only condiments. Lots of veges but not enough herbs leaves to make an authentic Bún chả... 2-star (Chè Khoai Môn) No complaints on this one as problem lies in not every Vietnamese dish may suits me, plus I went to toilet in between and the glutinous rice mau have stick together too much. ======== Overall verdict Defintely coming back for Bánh Xèo and other side dishes that I have not tries. I cannot help comparing the food and service I recieved to another Vietnamese restaurant that I visited recently subconsicously and ponder why such a huge difference...

Went here a few times. They change their menu often and I enjoy every meal I had here. You can also order food from NamNam noodle bar and bring it over. Food is a bit oily so do finish it while it still warm =p

I saw this restaurant from trip advisor. Having no idea what to order I just chose the first one on the menu, lemongrass chicken rice, for 9.9 Singaporean dollars. It's probably the cheapest meal there other than snacks. The restaurant provides a good environment. The rice was surprisingly delicious, actually it's hard to have some street food so delicious in Vietnam even though it advertises for Vietnamese street food! Upon being requested for a cup of free hot water, the staff said it would cost 2 Singaporean dollars. So expensive, to the point which is crazy. I live in a city where hot water is usually provided for free especially for restaurants of this price range. Eating in Singapore, you'd better bring some drinks to save some money. Drinks are very expensive here.

Love the food, had the rice with stir fried pork and prawns @ S$10.90+. Really delicious. Was there around 6pm on a public holiday and it wasn’t as crowded. Self service during order and collecting of food. Only down side was that the portion was a too small and would have been ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if my food was a bigger portion!

Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Ambience: 3/5 Value for money: 4/5 Tastiest Vietnamese food I've tried. Their rice bowls are very well seasoned and generous with their ingredients. Their coffee is delicious too. The only down point is the lack of seats during peak periods and their single seats are pretty uncomfortable.

Pretty good place to feed your cravings for some Vietnamese street food and dishes you would normally not be able to get in other joints in Singapore: - bun cha - banh xeo - cha ca la vong
