OMG, I love this restaurant!!! The food is unbelievably good. First to mention is the salted egg squid and it's probably the best thing in the world. It's crispy but tender, succulent and strongly flavored with salted egg. Thank god I don't live in Singapore or else this dish will kill me in 6 months because it'll be part of my daily diet. All the pork dishes are awesome, especially the sweet & sour pork. The Hokkian Mee is fantastic. The shrimp in pumpkin sauce is amazing. The hot plate wine chicken is out of this world. The flaming chicken has a lot of dramatic when they lit it on fire but the taste is quite meh. Ambiance is ok, just a typical chinese seafood joint. There usually some queue, though. Is it expensive? Not cheap, but also not too expensive and I think the quality of the food is very fair compared to the price. Will I come back? I've been coming back here for at least 7 years and will keep coming back.

A modest restaurant serving absolutely delicious food! Sweet and sour pork is incredible! The volcano chicken, on top of being spectacular, has a lot of flavors, a must try! Only downside is that communication can be challenging as only one or two staff speak English.

Went with two Malaysian friends on a pretty late dinner hour for the Penang local delights as one of them said it was the best in town. Not disappointed at all. We ordered Moonlight Hor Fan, Penang Fried Kway Tiao, Penang Assam Laksa and a Nanru Fried Pork. The moonlight hor fun (月光河粉) was my favourite, with the sweetness and moisture. Quite authentic compare to the one I had in JB. Assam laksa was also very nice and not so fishy compared with some I had before, the assam taste with a hint of sweetness. The Fried kway tiao was said to be authentic and fried pork was crispy yet lack a little taste of nan ru (fermented beancurd). Love it. Will come again.

Penang Seafood Restaurant 📍32 Aljunied Rd Singapore 389817 Good location for zichar within walking distance from Aljunied MRT. Overall an enjoyable meal at @penangseafoodrestaurant though there were some hits and misses. My votes went to Assam Laksa, Pumpkin beancurb and their signature volcano chicken. For volcano chicken, you also get to enjoy a spectacular performance to see the chicken on fire 🔥

[PENANG SEAFOOD RESTAURANT] #BatamliciouzinSG . What a hidden gem for tourist. Well not so hidden for the locals as they seem to be quite popular and mostly packed. Thanks to my local Singaporean Friend (Eric) for bringing me here! @penangseafoodrestaurant . Their “Penang Asam Laksa” is DA BOMB and definitely a must try. Super strong flavor and tasty. Feels so authentic similar to the one I had in Penang. Same could be said about their “Penang Char Kway Teow”. . Their other dishes I had were quite good also: like “shrimp roll” and “yam ring”. Makes me feel like trying more of their dishes as many have recommended in the Google Review. Give them a try if you are in Geylang Area! . #NONHALAL ➖➖➖➖➖

Good place to have late dinner after 10pm. Must try their volcano chicken. Food is above average for 煮炒. Their hor fun has lots of wok hei in it but I prefer the gravy from Lor 9 beef hor fun cuz Penang doesn’t have black bean sauce for beef hor fun.
