It's a great place to catch up with friends and colleagues over snacks and drinks.
The atmosphere is good and the place is packed during peak hours especially now with limited seating .
They have a limited food menu although the beer and drinks menu is vast.
Visitors usually look for promos as they are fairly priced.
Their Signature Chicken Wings have always had rave reviews and I have enjoyed them in the past. The No 5 pizza is good too and of yes the Mini Burgers. The menu is good enough for an informal dinner / catch up with friends.
The noise levels climb several notches higher when crowded which is understandable and therefore it maybe difficult to have a meaningful conversation π
.
Still it's a fantastic place, though lately there have been reviewers mentioning that service levels by staff have dropped and this could surely be an area where the management could work on.
And before i forget their unique system of chilling beers by stuffing the beer bottles in-between ice π
The food menu and a couple more pictures are from the ICB fb page.
Server attended to us at the door, and requested us to check in before seating us.
We were seated at the counter. The chicken wings were fantastic! Yummy max. Ikan bilis was a bit spicy, but the sauce was good. Quite a good selection of beer. Guineas draft was smooth and thick to my liking, unlike some places where it is too bubbly.
Food and drinks arrived promptly. Bartender also helped to clear our plates and empty glasses promptly.
Toilet is sanitised / cleaned every 30mins as indicated on the toilet door. Clean when I used it.
Cosy and nice ambience, good for batch up with friends.
I last stepped into ICB 16 years ago. Had been a regular when I was in my late 20s. Feels so good to be back! The songs still rock, the food still as good and the best part is, the vibe is still similar. Would definitely come back soon. Please remember to play Fortune Faded by Red Jpt Chilli Peppers as usual, 16 years ago! π
