Best char siew I've ever had. The skin is crispy and the meat is not too fatty. The flavors permeate beautifully into the rice and noodles.
Can't wait to go back
Long queue so it must be good, and it is. The meat is unique in that it’s very white with abit more fats than usual. The marinate is rather sweet and we can still feel the sugar that’s unmelted at some parts. But overall pretty good char siew.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s roast meat the greatest of the them all? 😁 Look no further. I had it a few times here and I enjoyed it very much. The tender roasted char siew and crispy roast pork are very well done. A little of queuing is very worth it. Sometimes I feel this little queueing real
Queued for approxinately 15mins when I was there for Sunday lunch. Overall, the char siew and roast pork is above average. It is a little too much fat for my liking, even though I love fatty Char Siew.
The char siu is really good, if a tad expensive. Ordered 100 gm home and it cost $6.50. Also ordered a small plate of siu yoke and it was good too, especially with the chilli. You can help yourself to some cabbage soup FOC as well.
Bought 2x 300g of charsiew for CNY eve, collection was seamless.
Charsiew is amazing! Extremely fatty but it tastes so good. Can't wait to try their roast pork and hakka noodles next.
Made the pilgrimage here after dining at Fook Kin. This is the original. Had the roast pork only (no char Siew because we prefer roast pork) and the Hokkien noodles. Absolutely fantastic and Absolutely worth the trip from west coast. It's a short walk from Dakota MRT. We will be back again. Nice ser
The char siew is tender and sweet with quite a little bit of fats in them. Rice is good. Overall a great char siew rice.
Noodles are also good, albeit different from the usual thin noodles.
