Lovely dinner with a tongue to tail gastronomic journey, the ingredients speak well of themselves and the chef. Time flies as the dining experience didn't feel pretentious. Private room setup was very welcome. Seasonal Japanese vegetables was refreshing and apt. Good food memories were made. Kudos to the team! P.S. The Grilled Wagyu was perfect.

Went there to celebrate birthday. It was great experience! The lady server was great and helpful. She explained every dishes and is knowledgeable. I booked the lunch slot at last min, hence was given a pvt room. I would actually prefer to sit at the counter so we can see the chef in action. Food was great and worth the price. Love it.

Went to Ushidoki in March 2022 for dinner, going with the $300 per pax menu. The good news is that they can accommodate a full seafood menu, as my wife is pescatarian. The ambience is cosy, few seats only. We were seated at the counter which I think is the best to see the chef preparing the dishes. The quality and variety of the food is really great! Of course must be a japanese beef lover to fully enjoy the experience. For the price I would have expected a bit more quantity but japanese beef is expensive so I guess it is fair, I am not complaining as the quality is top! Service is great, only one person but since there are few seats only, she is always available and make sure your sake glass is never empty 👍 I highly recommend and will definitely come back.

This is one of the most beautifully plated meal that is easy on The Eye, and definitely playful on the tongue. I shan’t describe the meal .. because I will not do any justice to the flavours they present to me! Ambience itself transport you to Japan the moment u step inside . The scent of the brew at the chefs table delights the spirit! So u definitely want to celebrate the moment you step in. Tithe dear friend who brought me there …. A big shout out to you.

Ever since I had a wagyu kaiseki meal at a Michelin starred restaurant in Tokyo some years ago I was looking for a similar experience. So I was pretty excited to find this restaurant on my trip to Singapore. Here is what I can say: Very stylish dining room, with a counter along the open part of the kitchen and a communal style dining table. It was appetizing to see the chefs slicing up some well marbled wagyu cuts! We came for lunch to try the 120$++ lunch menu. I made the reservation one week ahead of my visit which seems the average lead time to secure a table. The wine list was short and concise with some interesting choices, but due to lunchtime we had to stick with water only. Judging by the impressive lineup of consumed bottles on the shelves BYO should be fine as well. The food: The lunch menu consisted of seven plates, all of them centered around wagyu. Particular highlights were the grilled Ozaki beef rump steak, served with salad and Japanese condiments. The quality of the meat and cooking were immaculate. You can upgrade to a sirloin cut for an additional 30$, but we were quite satisfied with the rump cut. A tender piece of braised Ozaki beef was lip smacking good, but the absolute high point of the menu was the Rosanjin style sukiyaki, again with Ozaki beef. Succulent slices of wagyu atop of stewed onions and a sukiyaki tare, topped with onsen egg and a heap of fresh shaved black truffle. The accompanying rice and miso soup made this a dish to really savour. Given the high quality of the meat and the decent cooking this lunch was amazing value. I can imagine the more expensive dinner menus here must be quite a feast.

The lunch course is very good value for money using specialty Ozaki beef that you can only get here in SG. It’s leaner than most expect of Japanese beef but the even fat distribution and superb cooking makes it tender and so delicious. Get the wagyu sando add on, it’s sooo good!
