Very interesting place. Different cuisine than what we are used to in Singapore. Its a nice experience and quite different. Loved the nachos, made from plantain chips. The eggplant is also very different and nice. The pilaf rice has a nice mustard and turmeric flavour. We had the guava cheesecake for dessert and it was brilliant. There are few items for vegetarians, but mostly entrees. Only 2 vegetarian main courses, would be nice to see more. Also portion sizes are a bit small, so order accordingly. The drinks menu is quite exhaustive. Good location. I like the shophouse feel.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Came to us to introduce the menu and gave us recommendations which was very helpful.
Ordered the Fish tacos as suggested which I thought was quite nice though pricey at 18 dollars for 2. It was an interesting combination of flavors.
The jerk chicken and oxtail as a main felt small in terms of proportion as a main dish. Though I must say the mash potatoes and sweet potatoes were nicely seasoned and delicious.

Loved the food here! Will definitely return to try the other things in their menu. We had the plantain nachos with avocado salsa which was interesting and tasty. Then for mains, we had the oxtail eggplant - tender meat and perfectly crisp eggplant. We also tried the goat curry - again meat was tender and it went well with the paired basmati with kidney beans. Lastly we had the guava cheesecake which was a nice finish. Only downside is the place is quite dark and they play loud music - but the decor is aligned with the Caribbean vibe.
