A really wonderful dining experience in a fabulous setting. We visited the gardens at night (fantastic) and then stumbled on Pollen and we were lucky enough to get a table. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food here is exceptional, certainly world class. There were great Dégustation options, but we really didn’t want dessert so we opted for the À la carte and both had the Scallops dish which was delicious. Our main was a shared Beef Wellington which was accompanied by roast vegetables, gravy and mashed potatoes - outstanding. We just drank wine by the glass and this was excellent too. This isn’t a cheap place to eat but sometimes the price is worth the experience and this was one of those occasions. We also gained entry to the Flower Dome the next morning (because we dined at Pollen) and that is a really great experience too. Thanks to the fabulous staff we enjoyed ourselves very much.

I was there with my friends in Dec 2016 for the afternoon high tea and was warmly welcomed at the door. The waiter who served us made every effort possible to cater to our individual needs and had a great sense of sense of humour! The waiter explained each individual food items and suggested the order for consumption. I was so impressed by the food and service that I brought my family back in Jan 2016. The experience was as good as the first one and I realised we could even borrow a shawl to keep us warm as the temperature got very cold because of the rain outside the Flower Dome. Just to put the icing on the cake, you get access to the Flower Dome when you dine at Pollen!

The staff give good advice on the type of food suitable for my daughter & myself after checking with us our food preference. We were taking the 3 course set lunch menu on a Sat noon. Service is good even though the restaurant is busy as they will keep coming to us to check on our requirement.
