Superb dinner... every dish that is served is filled with flavours that will surprise you. I personally hate lady finger... but the 1st dish came along a chopped lady finger which is magnificantly done that i finished up my own portion and my wife portion too. Thanks to chef Daniel Lim who kept us entertained throughout the dinner who also introduced every single dish to us too.. 2 x thumbs up...
Excellent service, great food. At $68++ per pax for early bird booking, its totally worth the price. Loved the century egg toufu!
The minute I walked in memories of Tokyo came to mind. The dinner menu has three omakase options, we went with the one named Tokusen and it was really enjoyable. The ingredients in all of the dishes were super fresh and tasty, and watching the chef carefully preparing the complex meal was truly a memorable experience. Everyone is very friendly and we engaged in long discussion with our Sushi chef Mr.Chua who not only prepared a great meal, but also gave us in-depth explanations of unique dishes.
As someone who had experienced the likes of Sushi Dai @ Tsukiji Market and Sushi Jiro @ Roppongi, Shinzo is exceptional from start to finish.
Everything is curated carefully and skillfully in order to bring you to flavour town. Even the complimentary birthday cake, a red velvet cake is not a sugar bomb but instead it is a perfect finale; light, soft, suble and like the entire omakase experience, it left me with a clean and pleasant palate.
We had the "Take" lunch set (after gst about $160 per person) truly a "bang for bucks" omakase experience in Singapore.
Amazzzzzzingggg food w the nicest chefs. Super casual omakase experience. It's not the kind you need to mind your manners, dress up atas all type place. The chefs are super nice and down to earth. Food is bangin
They save cost because no Japanese chef but the food is still very good and special even if authenticity not branded by a Japanese chef. Price reasonable, preparation is robust and service is exacting standard.
Visited Shinzo 3 times and the food is always superb and 2 thumbs up! In my recent visit, I opted for the early bird (dinner) omakase. Great value for money!
Chef Zane is very friendly, we having a wonderful lunch omakase, food is nice and fresh, very delicious, and the price is affordable.
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Shinzo and really enjoyed our meal and experience there! The food was stunning (the sushi was superb ... obviously!) and the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. A big thank you to the team at Shinzo, and especially Chef Zane Chong, for making our first visit there so memorable!
Two of us had dinner here last night to celebrate birthday. We had the Shinzo Omakase Tokusen set for $208 each. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. The staffs are friendly and attentive.
Also enjoyed the company of chef Kevin Hoo (who prepared the food for us) and head chef Patrick Tan. Would recommend people to visit this place and we would definitely come back again.
