Boon Tong Kee - Singapore - Photo album

Love Boon Tong Kee chicken rice very much. Personally, find it tastes better than Tian Tian Chicken Rice. Visit BTK's East Coast shop because it is closing soon, quite a pity. Btw, I think the best branch still the Balester Road shop. 5 Star for Boon Tong Kee. 4 star for shop at East Coast.
I decided to drop in here with the family after walking past many times. It took effort to make our way past a number of people waiting outside to pick up take out - a good sign. Upon entering the restaurant, we were seated promptly and served iced water. We ordered the soup of the day and chicken r
If I can give 10-stars to this experience, I’ll generously give it without any hesitations. The food is as expected, delicious. Still the best chicken rice I have tried. Other dishes we ordered also rise to the occasion. My personal favourite, this prawn salad. It is hot and crispy on the inside, an
Quite a good "ta pow" selection for a 6 to 7 pax small family with guests dinner gathering, comprising fried rice, boiled chicken with chlli/ginger sauce, fried long beans, eggplant, venison, prawns with egg sauce, and spinach with century, salted and ordinary eggs.
Went there because people were raving about their chicken rice. I think their chicken rice is very tasty and good price for the smallest portion ($11). A down to earth air conditioned place to have simple meal of traditional white chicken rice. Thumbs up for pairing with preserved vegetables for appetiser at the sides zucchini instead of those typical cucumbers with much seeds. Another environmental move is the use of paper straws. Traditional shop
Tasty food at reasonable restaurant prices. Signature boiled chicken is soft and tender. The daily soup is cheap and good. Their special chilli sauce and dark soy sauce brings the food even up a further notch. Service is good and fast.
On this day I first went to Boon Tong Kee and five star chicken rice is my second stop. Their chicken cuts (ordered chicken breast) are thick compared to the nearby five star chicken. Rice is oily and fragrant, better than five star chicken, but is less generous. Comes with service charge and GST.
