Absolutely a 5-star rated restaurant with great food and good service! Every dish was executed to the highest standards with the best quality ingredients. Ambience was very pleasant and well maintained. Definitely coming back!

I’ve been to this place to taste Cantonese Cuisine. They had a customised A-la-Carte menu from which you can choose your favourite appetiser to soup to main course to deserts. It’s a different set of items and I haven’t tasted them before. I went with a different perception but when I tasted the food it took my taste buds into a different stream altogether. The food was delicious and most importantly light. After taking a full course menu of lunch with deserts and still feeling light was amazing. Next time I’ll try different combination of their meal course.

Chinese restaurant with good reviews at the Conrad Intercontinental at Temasek Blvd. Curious what all the positive reviews were about. The minute I walked into the restaurant, I had a bad feeling about it. The service staff were still setting up tables for my lunch at noon. A single menu was given to the overseas president of a famous university who is male and obviously didn’t know anything about ordering Chinese food. I had to salvage the embarrassing snafu by the service staff by suggesting that we order the set menu so that he didn’t have to choose from the menu. Within minutes, the first course was served without description of the food. I have no idea what was on the plate! I had to flag down someone to describe the food in English so that my super VIP guests can understand. I selected the Amethyst Set menu at $88+++ per person. The duck was bland and below average. The chili crab came in the shape of a black swan which was weird. My guests were excited as they have heard so much about the dish but honestly I couldn’t taste any crab nor do I know what the black stuff was. This black fluffy thing sat on some chili sauce. That’s it. Before I could finish my starter, the second dish was served!! The service staff cleared the other plates and put my second course on the table by my side. This is really bad! I told them to slow down the service. Again, there’s no description of the food. Nobody on my table had any clue what’s being served. The service staff just dumped the food in front of us and goes away. My overseas VIP guests were curious about the food and wanted to know more. It seems the staff is not interested in what they are dishing out to us. As I was half way through my soup, the 3rd course was served. By this time, the president spoke up and asked for the service to slow down. The staff hardly acknowledged. Aside from the uncommunicative hurried staff, the food was below average. Really disappointing as the whole meal felt hurried, slapped on without finesse of a fine Chinese restaurant. Another disappointment is that the ceiling down light fitting near my table was out of the ceiling board….. this really shows the lack of attention to details in this place. Lack of attention from service staff, attention to diners and their needs, lacking in the most basic of letting a diner finish the course before serving the next! Don’t bother to try the food. It’s below average and tasteless. For $88+++ per person, it is a really disappointing experience and a total waste of money. I was embarrassed to entertain a VIP there.

The Singapore restaurant week dinner menu looks interesting. So we decided to celebrate my spouse birthday with their exquisite food. The quality of the food and plating was really impressive. We enjoyed the good and the service. The staff was attentive and provided superb service. They added peach bun as a gesture for the birthday boy. We ended the meal with Nespresso coffee. It was a fantastic experience.

CNY Eve dinner, booked in advance. Arrived for the earlier seating and found ourselves seated outside the restaurant along the hotel corridor. While the decor is nice, I was a bit disappointed considering we had an advanced booking and the restaurant interior did look quite nice but we didn’t get to enjoy it. The neighboring table had asked to be swapped indoors which they did. Not sure how they allocate tables? The presentation for the CNY set meal course 168++ per person was as shown. Personally it doesn’t look as good as expected for the price and almost sloppy (see the lobster course). The lobster course was rather bland and it wasn’t fresh. The texture was a bit mushy. The kurobuta course was wrapped in bacon and covered in an almost satay-like sauce. The last wagyu noodle course looked a bit strange because there was a mix of both opaque and glass noodles both of which were cut very short and slightly clumpy. Overall slightly disappointing for the accolades they display at the entrance of the restaurant.

Restaurant located in Conrad hotel. Every dish was very good with nothing to complain about. My favorites are the classic XO carrot cake and dumpling in spicy vinegar sauce.

Had a good experience there. Ambience was good, service was attentive, staff were proactive, special compliments to Stanley. Food was delicious, best yusheng tasted with ice veg, and the portion for all dishes was substantial. See you again.

We finally made it here. Last year they were fully booked so ended up at Ritz Carlton. And it certainly was worth the wait. We had one of our best Chinese fine dinning experience Cantonese styled. For a start, it was a breeze getting up to the third floor of Conrad. None of the hassles of checking in at ground floor and a string of check-in protocols. We were ushered to a nice table on a jiffy and the excellent service starts. Tea and beverage selection, menus explained, choices made and we were left alone to take in the decor and ambiance. The chen-pi pu'er tea came to signal the start of our dinner - a gastronomic journey . Every dish was beautifully plated and perfect in every sense. Yes, the bird nest was best we had in years. We savored our 8-course dinner amidst an air of tranquility and serenity. None of the opulence or "festive air" of other Chinese restaurants. Dinners spoke in hushed voices. Waitresses buzzed around discretely. Yes, we were glad we came. And will be back again - if we can secure a table
