Most authentic Chinese Cuisine. They always keep the high standard of food. Love it so much! Each of the dishes is sooooo delicious. Must go at the first opening, otherwise will wait for the long queue.
Outside the restaurant, there were a lot of other diners already waiting for their queue number to be called & so the QR Code for the e-queue was quickly scanned to get a queue number. After a wait of almost 40 mins, our queue number was called & we were soon shown to our table.
The first dish to arrive is the Xiao Long Bao which was always tasty & yummy, with the biggest challenge being to pick them up without breaking the skin & losing the succulent stock within.
The Steamed Shrimp & Pork Dumplings are similar to the Xiao Long Bao in that they too had stock within but were shaped differently. Loved these Dumplings as they had the additional flavour & texture of prawns within.
The Stir-fried Dou Miao with Shredded Pork was fried to the right flavour & consistency, while the shredded pork helped to enhance the flavour of the dish.
The Original Shanghainese Drunken Chicken was smooth & tender. It had the flavour of Hua Tiao rice wine & would go really well by itself or with rice.
The Fried Rice with Pork Chop and Eggs was great but the Pork Chop itself tasted like it had been fried in old oil with burnt pieces, resulting in it tasting burnt even though it wasn't.
The Crispy Golden Prawn Pancake was a simple pancake made with beancurd skin & filled with prawns within. Alas, this dish was the disappointment of the evening as it was over fried & was too oily
Ended the night with 2 desserts. A serving of Almond Pudding covered with Black Sesame Dressing was a good mix of 2 differing flavours that paired well with each other. Only problem is the serving is way too small.
The second dessert was the Steamed Chinese Style Layered Cakes. This cake had layers of Steamed Sugar Cakes where one could peel them off layer by layer to enjoy. It was yummy but once again, too small a serving for the price.
General Verdict: Taiwanese style casual dining that served up wonderful cuisines at reasonable pricing

Food is good but bland for Indian palate. Don’t forget to ask for extra chilli oil and ginger. (My call) egg fried rice is a must order dish.
