Highly recommend!! Restaurant is clean and chill, food are delicious. We ordered six dishes and all of them are great! Dessert is so refreshing, perfect for the hot weather. Beyond that, staff are super friendly and attentive. Five star for the superb service as well!
The restaurant look small compare to the other Sentosa and less posh. But don’t let that turn you away, you the food is surprising good, better that it’s look. One of the favourite would be the vermicelli thin thread-like but awesomely flavourful. The sweet and sour pork are chunky big easy to chew, soup and it small crunchy dumpling is cater towards with less salt. And the chilli sauce is not too spicy and a bit of sour. The waiter captain did a good job of quickly finding a seat for 3,!splitting into 2 tables, and need not need to wait for long when the food started being served. One thing cautioned is don’t over order. The portioning is above average.
Putien offers excellent, and consistent Chinese food. We have eaten at several outlets and the quality of food and the service is generally very good. Strangely, when we ate at this outlet we found it a bit cramp and warmer (we were seated at the windows), compared to some of their other outlets.
Restaurant is quite small so you will need to wait for a table on the weekends. However service here is fast. You order your food while waiting for a table and they serve the dishes shortly after getting a table.
The Putien beehoon was great as usual especially with their delicious chilli sauce which we liked so much we bought a bottle. The seaweed appetiser is a must try, loved the sour flavours.
Unfortunately the lala dish was a letdown as the freshness of the lalas was not up to expectations from a putien restaurant.
Dishes were unique to PU TIEN with the special chilli sauce. Can be a bit pricey but overall tastes is flavoursome. Some difference in the tastes between branches of restaurant.
As always, Putien never fails to disappoint with their excellent cuisine, high level of service and thoughtfulness towards children!
My three year old son had a very good time playing at the Ocean Suite hotel room and fell asleep during lunch time at Putien. Prior to him falling asleep, he was fussing and crying, but Putien’s staff member promptly gave him a small toy to calm him down. This is on top of their usual offerings like the complimentary toddler meal (photo included). Even their manager came over to share her experience in dealing with her own child.
We are so glad we went with Putien for lunch! I feel so reassured as a mom to know that this restaurant always goes out of its way to make us feel at home.
Always a great restaurant to revisit, homie & yummy food to warm up your tummy. Lovely and welcoming staffs, good service plus English speaking, recommend so many dishes to us 😀 surely will revisit again and again.
Always happy to be dining at putien. Especially when they have the durian dessert in stock! Durian dessert is often sold out. So I recommend if you are a durian lover, to always ask if it’s available when making the main food order.
