First of all, the one star rating is just for the packaging. Went to Takashimaya last Saturday to buy two tins of your tangerine pineapple ball. However when I open up one of the tin to try out the so-called best pineapple tart in Singapore, the whole nugget taste just orange. And upon checking on the label, orange paste and orange peel were the main ingredients used. There was no mention of pineapple at all on the label. Even before I head down to get the tangerine pineapple ball, I read on your website, it says the nugget is FILLED WITH TANGY PINEAPPLE PASTE!. Care to explain why?. Please do not mislead customer for profit sake by calling it tangerine PINEAPPLE ball. To make matter worse, the pastry was somewhat sticky and the skin was peeling off. I can't even send the other tin as a gift now. Please see attached photos.Totally disappointed. An update : The customer service representative has reached out to me. I applaud their service recovery rendered to me and thank you for taking accountability to the highest level. As such I have amended the one star rating to four.

Was attracted by the large pineapple display outside the shop. The store was selling pineapple tarts- sad to say, I was not a fan of pineapple tarts. Thankfully, the store was selling mushroom chips at 15% off, the final price was $32 for a can of mushroom chips (still on the high side). Another product that attracted me was the “ice cream roll”. The promotion was “buy 2 get 1 free” which was a good deal. Would definitely be going back to try the ice cream roll. Tried the mushroom chips, good!

Gotta agree that Kele is good with my favourite pineapple tarts like the cheese and tangerine flavoured ones and have been a fervent supporter of it but clearly a bit disappointed this year with the shrimp rolls as the skin has became thicker and lesser filling resulting in much lesser taste than past years. Not as spicy as before which was the reason why i fell in love with it. Hope you can do better next year.

Thank you Kele and Yulika for the personal touch in reaching out to me on an online order. Your initiative to ensure fulfillment was satisfactorily completed deeply impressed me. Apart from the range of product for selection, it is great brand ambassadors like you that make that difference and add lovelier flavours to Kele's offerings through happy user experiences recieved following the online purchase. The sincerity in your customer-first approach and your openness in embracing all feedback deserve a 5 star rating from me! Well done in your customer engagement delivery! 👏👏

Across the street from Tong Heng which was one of my favorite bakery is Kele whose pineapple pastries is very good. It has different varieties vs Taiwanese or Hawaiian pineapple pastries. Quite a number of selection of different flavors like Sweet Potato, Golden Cheese, Cocoa, and of course the Traditional version of the pineapple tarts. The cookies are individually wrapped in a box. Worth stopping by if you like pineapple cake.

I reckon they have one of the most tasty pineapple tarts in sg. The tarts have a soft buttery crust and a perfect pineapple to tart ratio. They have a couple of new creations, but I have always just go their traditional pineapple tarts only.
