This place reminds me of Balmoral Confectionery(BC) at Sunset Way. Like BC, everything here seems got stucked in time, from their store deco to their old school pastries and most importantly their prices. Their items though were a hit & miss, love their butter cake & cocunut tart but not so much on their custard puff & cream cone.

Old school confectionary nestled in a mature HDB estate. Friendly auntie selling buttery egg tarts and coconut tarts at an affordable price.

Old school bakery with lots of varieties. Friendly aunty. Cream horn is nice, the cream is not too sweet.

Got to know this old school bakery from YouTube. Cycled all the way from east coast to beach road to tabao some cakes home. The traffic light cake is really very tasty. The chocolate chip cake is just as good! Egg tart can be the star of the day, very good quality egg tart. The chocolate chips ball is so so only. Maybe the younger children will appreciate it more.

When times are hard, some of us long for some sweetness to counter the bitterness. Weekend afternoon tea—from Sembawang Confectionery@Blk 6, Beach Rd, #01-4869 (daily from 7am—7pm) This bakery needs no introduction. I love its old-world charm, friendly staff, wide variety of bread types, cakes, buns and many more. The Beach Rd neighbourhood, where Sembawang Confectionery is located, is a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Simple old school bakery serving up local favourites. Buns, butter cream cakes and tarts. The Pandan chiffon cake ($8) is good. It was moist, light and fragrant. Friendly staff.
