Really average run of the mill zichar in my opinion. Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. The horfun came out lukewarm which was quite unpleasant. However, the har cheong gai was ok with the skin quite crispy. The chilli that came along didn’t quite make it though.

Average food. Ordered 2 plates each of Lala Beehoon, Har Cheong Kai (prawn paste chicken mid wings (frozen), Sambal Stingrays, Fried String Beans about $90.

Love the pumpkin sauce prawn, has a sweet milky taste. Fresh prawns used too. Prawn paste chicken was spot on. Not too oily and flavour came out stronger than many other I’ve tried. Really quick service as well, got all the food under 15 minutes. A nice, no-frills zichar stall - would definitely come back!

Ordered online via grab. Portions are pathetic. We also made a note to separate the crispy noodles from the gravy so that noodles will not arrive soggy (As most places do accede to our request) but this request was conveniently ignored. Will NOT buy from them again. There are a lot more Tze Char stalls with better service and better tasting food available for delivery on Grab. Go for them instead.

Steamed grouper is fresh, garlic lala taste nice but a little salty. For that amount of lala at that price, it's abit pricey.

Nice food! Stingray isn't spicy (friendly). Butter pumpkin anything is good!

Quite a disappointing order. Bought 2 portions of pork rib rice (they call thing pork rib King but I think it's a better meal for the dethroned) and the serving size was tiny for $5. 3 small thin slices of pork with some sauce and white rice. My father got pretty annoyed at the order so I am suddenly a failure of a child. Don't buy if you want to impress the parentals.

Singapore home cooked cuisine. Fuyong Omelette, BBQ Stingray, Pumpkin Sauce Pork, 4 Seasons Beans..

Super fresh and delicious seafood at very reasonable prices. Love the crab beehoon, soup tasty, comparable to the famous one in AMK. The crab is succulent, full of roe and cooked just right, flesh is still qq and sweet and I could easily pull the flesh of the shell which means the crab is really very fresh.
The other "wow" dish was the garlic deep fried pork. Very well marinated. It was so good I decided to dabao some home, can make pork sandwich (猪排包) for breakfast tomorrow. Hehe.
Their mango salad is worth mentioning. I don't usually have high expectations for Thai mango salad, it's just something I order to meal it a balanced meal (or at least I feel like it's a balanced meal), most places use very raw mangos that are flat sour and have this siap siap aftertaste. But the one I had here is different, the mango is slightly ripe so it's got a tinge of sweetness mixed in the savory fish sauce dressing. And I think they got the shallots, chilli, peanut ratio just right, not too spicy and just nice crunchy.
Finally dessert. Their coconut ice is a must eat, even if you are very full after the meal, I'll still recommend you order one to share. It's only mildly sweet so it feels very light. It had slices of tender young coconut flesh that I slurped up with the ice cream. Shiokness to the max.
Will definitely come back again soon.

Everyone loves Thai food so if U ever have a craving for some REALLY authentic Thai cuisine, pop down to Yaowarat Seafood. Had Mother's Day dinner there & the food was sooooo awesome dat Daddy, who's also the pickiest eater I know, requested dat he have his Father's Day dinner here too.
Nestled in a quiet lil corner just off Upper Serangoon area, the place is always bustling during dinnertimes so U needa book in advance to prevent disappointment.
So far, everything we've tried are yummilicious, the seafood superbly fresh & the highly recommended dishes are:
Fresh oysters (big, fat, fresh & succulent)
Grilled seafood platter (pictured)
Crab bee hoon soup (I LOVE crab bee hoon soup & this is right on top of my cravings list)
Deep fried pork belly
Steamed Thai style sea bass
And to top it all off, EVERYTHING is reasonably priced!

I must say, for the price that you're paying, the quality of the seafood is definitely worth it. The seafood are pretty fresh and the portion (for the Claypot Crab Bee Hoon combo) is really reasonable for 2. What disappointed me the most was the taste of the soup and how the seafood was cooked. Soup was creamy and buttery - but way too much. Left the soup as it was after 2 spoonfuls, and you can even see a layer of oil on top of the soup. Seafood was way overcooked. Was really looking forward to it but pretty disappointed.

Won $50 Yaowarat voucher in their contest! Feel happy n lucky! Most of their food were nice n yummy, only a few exceptional dishes ( maybe my taste buds problem). I been dining at Yaowarat Seafood a few times before I joined their Contest. It is a MUST to leave space for their desserts! Best is Black Glutinous Rice topped with 1 scoop ice cream and followed by Mango Sticky Rice! These 2 are the best I eaten before compare to other Thai stall or restaurant up till now. Nice till me n a group of friend just came in for their desserts only. Lol! Staffs are friendly and services are good! Yaowarat Boss try his best to ensure that their customers are paying for the quality of the food they served. If quality is not good, staff will inform their customers that particular food is not available! Definitely will go back to Yaowarat again :)

This place was highly recommended by a number of food bloggers/ critics... what a humbug! The food is mediocre at best, and it is expensive

Satisfy my cravings for Thai food. It is even better than some places in thailand. Never fails to delight my taste buds every time I'm there. Crab bee hoon is heavenly! I am craving for it even though I just had it yesterday. Sea food is really fresh! The la la is cooked just right, huge and juicy. My grand dad is nuts over the Tom yum soup! Best Thai food I have had in Singapore by far.

I came hearing raves about this place. Boy I was not disappointed! The food here totally satisfied my cravings for Thai food!! Or should I say that this is even better than Thailand!

Went for dinner with my group of friends, total 5 of us. Ordered the signature crab meehoon and also black pepper crab.. it was fantastic!! I tried the tomyum flavour before but the original flavour is definitely betterrr. You can totally taste the freshness from the crabs! Other dishes like the BBQ pork is awesome too, together with the green Chilli sauce! Price is really reasonable for the 5 of us! Will surely come back the next time round when my craving for crabs hit me again.
