Hidden gem! We tried the Zi Char~ Could easily find seats on a Sunday night, perhaps cos most orders were to dabao. Price very very reasonable, portions just right too. For 2 people, we ordered 3 small dishes - left feeling very full but satisfied:)
Very personable and chatty senior couple with many old customers. Went there at noon, was told no more bak kut teh, so ordered pig trotter instead. Really good Zi char store in a very atas area... Almost all the items in the menus are goods... Prawn paste chicken wings, hotplate tofu, sweet n sour fish, even the green vegetables is so fresh... N hotplate tofu is not salty at all, with just nice the sauce, u can even eat it without the rice ...
