Visited the store today to take away some laksa. I very specifically asked to ADD cockles. However, there was not even a single piece of it in my laksa. The mee pok is great with ample portion. Soup is the most tasty one, fish balls can be better if it’s bouncier and with fish cakes. Overall, good mee pok.
Ordered Fishball noodle. So so only. Won’t visit again.
Average noodles, inconsistent flavours and seasonings. Can be better, will try again next time.
As I stay nearby (walking distance), been patronising this stall irregularly from time to time when i do not wish to drive out for its lor mee (as there are no other lor mee options nearby around the area as well). The last 2 visits (both dine in), have been having chilli and garlic issues with the
Ordered basic fishball noodles ($5.80) and laksa ($6.20) from this stall via GrabFood. Not sure if it was the rider or the seller at fault, but my order specifically indicated the non-spicy option for the fishball noodles, and I requested it less oily. It arrived, completely drowning in chilli oil.
Come down and try their laska and bcm. They put lots of effort to making each bowl. Do show them your support to make it through this tough period together. You won’t regret once you tried it!!
Great taste of BCM. Especially the lor mee and laksa which have the old school taste. Well recommended to visit when you are hunting for food 24/7 .
