Was looking for some Chinese New Year gifts, drop in and was amaze by the quality product as well as reasonable price. The owner are helpful, this is a third generation business doe decades. Such reputable medical hall for the benefit health care is really a gem. will definitely come back again to explore more healthcare products.
Very helpful and friendly store. I called and was suggested to WhatsApp them the prescription so they can check availability and pre-pack the herbs. The price is also very competitive.
The staff are really nice and the range of products looks very interesting (for someone who doesn't frequent medicinal halls). I went in desperately hungry because it was the only place with food I could get to without going out in the rain. The staff were super accommodating and helped to highlight whatever snacks and non-medicinal products they had. They were so kind that they even offered their own biscuits since there weren't any for sale. I just bought some snacks, and I would definitely go back for tea/soup ingredients as they have some nicely packaged for small portions!

I do not visit Chinatown often but because of Teck Soon Medical Hall, I drop by more often. I was recommended to buy from this shop because the herbs ‘move’ fast implying fresh and the price is very competitive. I take Chinese medicine every now and then. Once you become a regular customer, you could WhatsApp your prescription to them and pick up the medicine later, so as to shorten waiting time. Fulfilling Chinese medicine prescription is definitely way harder work, especially when you compare the effort to pharmacists doing the same for Western medicine. If you drive, parking is a challenge, hence this convenience of sending them your prescription before your arrival would be highly appreciated.
I have also made trips down using the MRT. It is located near enough to Chinatown MRT station. While I pay in cash most of the time, they do accept credit cards, although not PayWave. Besides herbs, many other stuff are priced very competitively, eg, Nin Jiom herbal candy, flower tea, etc. Do note that even though customers are not loitering around at the shop, they could still be very busy because people like me have sent them prescriptions to fulfill, through WhatsApp. They are very nice people, working really hard to make Chinese medicine more affordable, so please be patient when you visit.
I didn't buy Chinese soup materials and Chinese medince in Singoare often as my father in China always buy for me in China. Due to Covid-19, I have to buy in Singapore as travel to China is terminated. I found Teck soon is very competitive in price comparing with other shops and the quality is also good...
