Great place to go to for breakfast. The lor mee has a mix of braised chicken thighs, fried fish, fried dumpling and a good mix of lor chap with whipped eggs. Wonder where they will move to after Tanglin Halt enbloc.
Gravy is on the lighter version and quite plentiful of fried food and chicken meats. I do not find the chicken going too well with the noodle though.
Dabao home for breakfast today. They separated the gravy from the noodle which prevents the noodle from becoming too soggy. The the gravy is not too thick for my liking. And most importantly, you can taste it’s not salty to the extent we are in need of water to hydrate. And it’s so flavourful! One o
For $3, the lor mee was really value for money. There were lots of fried stuff (which I assumed to be fish) and chicken, but the latter didn’t really go well like pork. The gravy was very tasty and not starchy like what you usually find in other stalls. They accept e-payment.
Both my fiance and i wanted to have lor mee and although uncle said he only had enough for one bowl, he gave me more ingredients so that we could both share (it looked like 2 bowls) 😭 and still insisted on not taking the money for 2 bowls. Only within hawker centres would one find such 人情味 😭

Really? A small pack of gravy barely enough for one, let alone 6.
