Ah Ho Teochew Noodles - Singapore - Photo album

Saw some good review and came to give it a try at Verdun Road coffeeshop. The noodle is cooked al dente and the chilli/oil mix is the star of this fishball noodle. The pork lard also done very well. Very few stall get it right nowadays when it comes to the noodle texture and the pork lard. The sou
I took BCM Mee Kia and my wife Mee Pok. It’s different rating for both. Mee Kia was better as I like my noodles less Al Dante (less cooked). The chili and sauce mix is good for me. Ingredients is generous. The mushroom could be more slow cooked longer to make it softer. Soup wasn’t too tasty. But
One of our regular places to go for fishball noodles because surprisingly, it is not all that hard to get parking at Verdun Road in the mornings There are always seats there as the coffeeshop is quite empty before lunchtime. For the dish itself, it is a good bowl of teochew fishball. The noodles are
Easily one of my favourite BCM places. The minced pork comes in a meat-ball that's very good, the chilli/oil proportion is tasty (tho bordering on too oily for some), and mushrooms are v good. Comes with fried sole fish too
Had it yesterday 25Feb21... minus another star... taste drop ..no more Shiok!!!☹ 5 Stars drop to 3... $4 ..2 slice of pork... $5 also 2 slice of pork... Standard drop since I ate this dish at Short St . Than to kitchener... to Sam Leong Rd.. back to kitchener..
This stall used to be at Verdun House last time, move here due to sale of the shop. Their teochew kway tiaw dried version is one of the best in town, the dried chili is superb, their ingredients have a mixed of fishball, sliced pork, pork ball, mushroom and also fried flatfish.
Portion at $4 was alright with a few varieties of ingredients.. Noodle was average on al dente.. Chilli sauce not too spicy which was not my type but taste of chilli is unique, not those usual ones.. Fishball and fish dumplings quality needs to be improved.. Soup not alot of MSG which is good.
This stall remained me of the teochew noodle stall at the crawford lane. Love the smokey note of the chili paste they use to toss the noodle with. This bowl of noodle was SGD$3, comes with the standard fishball, fishcake and slices of lean meat.
