If I could give zero stars I would. Stumbled upon this tze char, and had perhaps the worst tze char meal ever. We got two “fresh” red groupers for $50, and the meat was dry and tasted like year-old frozen fish meat. The fish was unscaled, full of tiny bones, and the sauces were cold. The service guy just said “oh sorry the chef forgot to descale”. Since the fish is unfresh, the skin and scales stuck to the dry overcooked and tasteless meat - in the end we couldn’t even eat it, it was literally inedible. The minced pork eggplant was in a reddish sauce which tasted out of a premix packet. The worst $73 meal I have ever paid for. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and it was so bad that thinking back makes me want to gag. That bad.

Recently tried some zhi char take away dishes from here. All dishes were below average. Worst was the broccoli stir fried w garlic. The broccoli was rotten throughout which we discovered upon opening it at home. We had to throw it all away. How could they prepare, cook and serve us this??
Won't be going back.

Staff lied to me.
Misinformed me that the buy 2 get 1 free member promo is still available, and so I order 3 items of the same.
Subsequently they told me "oh you did not redeem the item in your app, so you are not entitled to the promo." And they didn't allow me to cancel my dish.
Was it so hard to honour their mistake?

Zero star if possible. I don’t waste time posting reviews but this experience that’s exceptionally bad is triggered by pushy, poor and unreasonable customer service.
Initially Ordered 3 dishes and when discussing if we wanted to get the 4th(as 4 of us are not big eaters), the order taker or boss (a plump lady) interrupted and went ahead and wrote down a fourth dish she recommended while we’re still discussing but we just went with it.
We were told the eta was 30mins. Less than 5mins into waiting we decided to change the dish that’s recommended for something lighter but the same order taker refused and brush us off saying it’s already cooking(what a joke as she said eta 30mins and the first dish arrived after 30mins).
First 2 dishes came on time but subsequently we had to pause eating to wait for the 3rd dish which arrived after more than 10mins, we continued eating and after finishing all that, 20mins went by yet the 4th still hasn’t arrive. Staff repeatedly say it’s coming when asked time and time again after being asked and requesting to cancel. We cancelled it in the end(another 15mins had past by then).
FYI a family which came before us, seated behind me also face the same issue which a dish not arriving in time ended with them having a plate of tofu with nothing else remaining…

Ordered their curry fish head set 4 times already via Qoo10. The review is based on the latest order. Curry fish head taste really good. It's a big portion, look at the container. Other dishes are usual. Prices are very reasonable.

Ordered from 805 website directly 2 days in advance for a 12.30pm arrival. But food arrived 1.5 hours late at slightly after 2pm. Chilli crab was a tad small at 650g $48, but has roe and was very fresh. Wet Hor Fun at $8 was a rather big portion. Food was OK but nothing to write home about, however, delivery on a Friday was 1.5 hours late, not quite acceptable.

Decent zichar. They can also do a decent vegetarian fried rice. Tried the prawn rolls and fried rice. Prawn rolls somewhat lackluster. Fried rice ($4) can feed two not very hungry diners.

Ample parking space and food serve not too oily or salty. It's a great place for a family get together furthermore hougang mrt and hougang mall is just door steps away .

Ordered via Honest Bee for my family gathering of 9pax totalling almost $200.
Looks like you guys aren't keen on doing business.
Either that or your restaurant is incompetent of handling "rush hours" at 5.42pm.
Other establishments would at least be courteous enough to drop a call and ask if it is ok that delivery may be delayed.
We are reasonable enough to hear them out and be accepting of the circumstances.
So I've never tried your food and never will.
