Firstly, RIP Mr. Lee Eng Su.
Where the Coconut Club was located, from the same people now in place is a nonya cai fan- Peranakan style pre-cooked dishes. Prices are slightly higher than your run of the mill economical rice stall but of course. The restaurant is nice & the service proper.
The food still needs improvement as there are bits and misses. Sayoh lodeh was mediocre but Loh duck great with the best sauce. Belado ikan chilli not exactly how I remembered it is supposed to be like with many other Peranakan joints. Pork Belimbing is interesting with a sour end to it. Lastly, Crab meat ball is too soft on the inside.
Much work needed still. All the best Belimbing Star!

Enjoyed ourselves here. Portions are small but good variety and delicious. Dessert was also good especially the kueh koswee and the coconut jelly. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Was sent here by the crew at coconut club since they couldn’t host us.
This is a treasure!
Food was super good and the staff were so lovely.
Everything was super tasty so I’m not sure where I should begin, try it for yourself instead.
4 stars because the portion is slightly small for the price you pay but the taste is totally worth it.

Staff and crew were top notch. Rendang and Lala were good too. Great ambiance and space. I'd say the dishes could use a little bigger variance in taste profile. Something lighter in the savory department could balance the menu out.

Excellent food .. only one dish - some ball looking dish is too salty.
Kueh is excellent too..

Excellent quality yummy peranakan food. Considered pricey as the option is small esp the sotong.

Wow. This Nonya place is amazing! Their small plates are actually perfect for two people and that way you get to try alot of their delectable dishes. The yam cake was so crispy and savoury, 💯! Their duck is a MUST TRY. All of the their dishes I tried were yummy. Not forgetting their belachan (sambal chili), not super spicy so it’s very good. Had their coconut jelly for dessert and I inhaled it, a great ending to the meal. I will be back with my family!

This place has got to be one of the best Peranakan restaurants. The food was authentic and had exciting flavours. More than just the food, the waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. The belimbing pork was simply fantastic. OH and I was told that they cook their food with the freshest ingredients without the use of any MSGs - including Soy Sauce! Would definitely be back for more!
