Donya Japanese Cuisine - Singapore - Photo album

My dad ordered a mentaiko salmon takeaway but we only realized when we got home they either gave the wrong dish or forgot the mentaiko. Tastes quite bland without the sauce and it’s also more expensive than the other salmon dish.
First time trying Donya. My Katsu Don came in a disposable bowl. The miso soup is a free item provided when you dine in. I was quite shocked when I got it because it looked very little and the price was just not justifiable. At least the taste was still passable. $7 is not worth it for me. Curry h
First time trying but it will be my last too. Food wise is just very average or even below. The pork was below average, the UNAGI is averages. The egg was not even stirred. Try at your own expense.
Order salmon mentai don for $9.50. Mentai taste acceptable. Salmon a bit small for the price paid. Tasted like normal teriyaki salmon with added mentai sauce. Not worth the additional $2. Plus for $7.5 you vN habe a set at food court. Overrated
Salmon mentai was crispy and tasty. Relatively affordable at $9.50, and portion would be same price just slightly smaller than if you get something of the same size at the Japanese chain restaurants.
In summary, totally overrated food with very rude staff. You are better off having the western food “chop chop” in the same coffee shop. 1. The food is really mediocre. i think their popularity stems from the fact that they are the only japanese food outlet in the area. Their portions are also smal
A neat Japanese stall in the heartland. The price had gone up recently but comparatively, still cheaper than the restaurants. Not fair to gauge in such manner? What matters is in the taste and I really want to share on the Salmon Maki Don. Quite popular, queue at meal times.
It was a good standard of food that one may not expect at a kopi tiam. Value for money.
