Worst fish i've tasted in my life, horrible experience [Detailed Review]
A group of us ordered 3 fried seafood platters and 5 drinks (plain water was not complimentary and you have to buy it). Let me go into a detailed review of the worst dining experience i've had in my life.
Firstly, one of the fish was stale, brownish, smelled rotten and left a disgustingly tingling sensation on the tongue. We knew something was wrong because we could compare it to the other platters we ordered; even though the others were also tasteless and stale. We were told that cod fish was used but it definitely tasted like dory fish that has been stored in the fridge for weeks. Also, the batter on the fish was hard and it felt like we were chewing on rocks.
When we complained about the fish, the manager just looked at us and walked away without doing anything. To add on, the fried oysters were dry, fried prawns and squid were hard; all with the same hard-as-rock batter and seemingly . Fries were average and seemingly the only edible food in the platter.
I believe people visit Boston Seafood Shack only due to novelty because absolutely no one will visit them for their horrible food and service. We paid about $80 for food i won't even pay a single cent for. For a restaurant that promises 'fresh seafood', it was a downright disappointing experience.

I was there for lunch with my wife and there was a 1-for-1 promotion going on. I ordered the Seafood Basket, which was essentially a basket of fried seafood (Dory, prawns, squid), and my wife ordered a Lobstah (no mis-spelling here) Roll. Contrary to the earlier review, I felt compelled to give my feedback as the food was very good and we weren't charged for our iced water. The bill totalled to $22.35, which was cheap in my opinion (and my wife's).
We will definitely go back again.
