Review The Singapura Club - Haji Lane - Singapore

The beer is good and the people watching is the even better. Food was ok. Decent but not great flavours and small portions. If you lower your expectations to that of a tourist spot, you’ll be happy. I would go back again.

Located right at the middle of haji lane. Outside seating has good view of the street. Good music. Good and friendly staff. Best place to hangout with friends. Decent food.

I have been to this pub twice in past couple of years. - Good choice of beer, both on tap and bottled beer. - Very nice staff. - Awesome location. - Outside and Inside sitting options. First time i went there in early 2018 and had beer and dinner there. Had indian curries, Palak paneer and Rice, the curry was very nice. But this time we went there in September 2019 and had few beers and some food. We ordered some sort of Fries and Fried shrimps, Both were not good at all. But i will still go there again when next time in Singapore. Cheers guys. 😃

Great place to go for an after work drink and sit outside. You can take in all the action and the drinks are nice. Had a lovely prosecco and watched the world go by.

Good enough bar in a good location. Not the cheapest in town (similar to what you will pay in hotel or decent restaurant) however good place to chill and observe lost tourists over a beer.

Recently went down to Haji Lane to check out the area and went into this bar called Singapura Club. Had a great time drinking the IPA beer. Great taste and enjoy the good time with the manager and staff with their friendliness. Will definitely be back again.

Was disappointed with my last visit. They cancelled the only menu that I liked, which was ‘Fried Laksa.’ I even used to call them right before the kitchen closed to order the dish! Beer was not cold this time .. and no more fried laksa. I’d been here every single time when I was in Singapore over the past year (6-7 times).

A very nice brand name - The Singapore Club. However it was my 2nd visit there. Their drinks are pretty pricey, food options are very little (Only 6-8 dishes in the menu but most of is unavailable and pricey too. What we ordered was a truffle fries (Came out wedges) + 2 pint of beers and the bill cost almost $50 - on a Monday. Not a good experience, better to go somewhere else near by instead with better pricing and the same things we ordered.

Food was nothing to shout about, service wasn't the best. Corona beer wasn't cold and no lime, tried to signal the waiter but he simply ignored me on two occasions. My Truck Stop Fried Chickens were so dry, it wouldn't have gotten any drier if I placed them in a desert. Different menus had random cancellations all over the place, unsure what was available. Music blasting from the speakers on the second level was overly loud to the extent it was unpleasant. Nope. Oh, the glass of ice water was my favourite part of the meal..

Just ate here (or tried to). First we were seated at a table and then after 10 minutes, asked to move because another party apparently "reserved" that table, after watching a waiter and waitress fight over what to do/where to put us. Sure, no problem, we can move. Then we try to order and the girl didn't know what "goreng pisang" was (she wrote down "goreng pizza" on her notepad and kept asking us if we wanted to see the menu--no thanks, just spent 10 minutes looking at it...) That should have been our clue that something was wrong. Then another 10 minutes later a third waiter comes over and gives us menus. We tell him we already ordered, he looks surprised and retakes our order. Again the same song and dance with the "goreng pisang" until we physically point it out on the menu. Then the first girl comes back (third time now we've tried to order) and says they're out of goreng pisang (she still doesn't seem to know what it is). Would have been nice to know the first two times we tried to order as that's why we chose this place. Looking at other reviews now, confused waiters seem to be a theme. They even have the audacity to charge a 10% service charge. Really? TL;DR: avoid unless you want shitty service, atomsphere, and to inhale cigarette smoke and the faint smell of sewage. Chai tea was disappointing. The live singer tonight was good, though.

En una calle muy concurrida y animada !! ... Confortable lugar con muy buen servicio y excelentes refrescos ...

I keep coming back. Whether it's Tiong Bahru or Haji lane. I love them both. Chicken Tikka Hussiani all the way.

Went to Namly Club for dinner last night and ordered Beef Rendang and Green Chilli Fried Rice. The food was average and we received prompt service. However, both my husband and I were down with food poisoning thereafter. Needless to say we were both very disappointed with the outcome. A pricey establishment positioned in an upmarket estate should be able to do better than just reheating leftovers gone bad for their customers.

The coffee was good last time. Now it's absolutely awful. My latte was watery and excessively bitter. My friend's drink, "The Special" was similarly watery and tasted like diluted mango juice. Sad!

Amazing customer service!

Hawker quality food at 3x the price. Should've taken a hint when I saw no one eating here, only drinking beers. Service is slow and majority of staff don't speak English either unfortunately.

Worst service ever TSC haji lane. Worst teas (they probably premix them) worst latte (very diluted). Never coming back!!!!!!
