I have decided to drop by Typhoon Cafe at Stadium for a quick drink & a dessert since I have my birthday voucher from Creative Eateries. The place was not crowded at all. Sadly the service was unacceptable. My dessert which was supposed to be 'Serve Now' didn't turn out after about 35 to 40 minutes
The grass jelly milk was super awesome as was the pig intestine with long bean dish. The serving for the chocolate waffle was quite big. Service of one of the service staff was awesome too.
1st off, the location in Google maps is way off by about 100 meters. It is located betweem Aone signature and Suki-Ya. The food was pretty good (the xiao long pao had skin on the thicker side). The staff was courteous and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The deserts and drinks were tasty also.
Food standard is bad. Signature dishes are terribly bland and does not justify the price. Oyster mee sua is very watery and almost like mee sua soup. Lu rou fan was very mushy as well, and lack the fragrance I would expect for a $13 dish, doesnt even look like the menu picture. Unsure if the food or
Food is just normal, not bad but not special. But quite pricy for ordinary food and feel not worth it. You can get Taiwan typical dishes such as fried rice, minced meat rice, noodle. If you hv sweet tooth, u can get dessert : cakes , pancakes and drink wise - bubble teas.
