When I think of fish head steamboat, I would come here. Comfort food. But the service had dropped quite a bit. We asked for refill of soup 4 times before they finally come. And the soup refilled was plain water. Hope they will be back on their standard soon.
Nice fishhead steamboat to share amongst friends and family! Especially during rainy day weather like this. Tried their new dishes - Prawn with golden pumpkin sauce, champagne pork ribs which are available at this outlet only and we love it so much :D
Favourful soup base for the fish steamboat that has a smokey taste (火味）which only found at this restaurant. Other dishes such as braised intestines, fried beancurd are good. Old school settings. Seating in the back alley, non air conditioned area and air conditioned seating avaliable.
Local friends took me to this restaurant for some "local immersion" meal. The restaurant specializes in Fish Head Hotpot and three of us had the Grouper fish head , had no idea there's so much meat on the head! Essentially boneless and the soup was not spicy for a change.
4 star rating since I thought the price was a bit steep for non air conditioned restaurant and far from MRTs.
Yummy fish head hot pot. They have sliced fish options as well. Stock was yummy and tasty. Side dishes are average to good.
