Tensho - Singapore - Photo album

Doesn't take credit cards, which is irritating because each person averages $20. Even weirder is that the other half of the shop (the buffet, also under MOF) does accept credit cards. Apart from that food was OK. tempura not particularly crispy.
Not the best Tempura batter , and a bit pricey. Service is nice.
Visited Tensho as they are having kids dine for free promo. I have 2 kids and their meal is pretty decent for kids. The vegetable tempura has 2 vegetable croquettes, brinjal... My mixed tempura has fish, ebi, mushroom and long beans. Which I felt is quite a good variety. Their signature was onsen e
Tempura batter is all wrong, not light and fragment. The oil is clearly wrong temperature because the food absorbed easy to much of the oil and tasted oily and heavy instead of delicate. They used ponzu sauce instead of real Tempura sauce! Yuck.
Limited choice of food and pricy. Oily stuff. Most dishes comes with egg.
Tempura is not right and rice has too much gravy let it become soggy. The chawanmushi taste like is burnt. Service has room for many improvement.
No service. Staff was rude and gave a bad attitude all the way. Forget one of our orders and didn't even bother apologize. Entire place was empty except for us... Should have taken that as a warning sign. Doubt they will last much longer here serving below average food.
Terrible service. When asked if there is a set meal, answered no, only to find out when my friends' ordered there are, and changed my order. The staff is nonchalant and never once smiled. No staff were in sight and friend's food was left on the counter for 10minutes before we asked and later served
