Review Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Buffet Restaurant - Singapore

Had a family dinner here of 7 pax , about $350+. Service was still ok. Since government have eased the covid restrictions, food are self service which caused overcrowding at the food area. It was like body to body contact and like hungry people snatching food at the same time especially the seafood section. Due to limited space, the distance between diners are quite close and you may have to give way or tolerate numerous people walking past you if you sit near the food station. Food standard have dropped and honestly not as great as we had before the covid period. Maybe come at not peak hour for less crowd. Price still quite reasonable. Honestly there are hotels that provide better quality buffet than this, even if hotel are more expensive, I would rather dine at hotel for its quality and service.

Delicious food, reasonable price. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Because of pandemic, the change normal self serving Buffet to Ala cater style buffet. The service is great and the dishes look better than self-service.

Disappointed with the restaurant. Everyone standing and waiting for the food to be placed on the serving area as not many choices of food was available. Replenish of food was slow. Only 2 types of drinks and muffins were available. No cakes and no tea too. Seating area were cramp too. Used to have very nice food but now standard and service dropped to the max. DO NOT EAT HERE OR U WILL REGRET! We hv been a long time regular here and we returned here when buffet are allowed again but was totally disappointed when standard now hv dropped to a totally unacceptable levels. Arrived at beginning of buffet and many stations were closed and empty. We thought they were not ready yet so we proceeded to eat here but even when we left at end of the buffet, the entire station was closed. Coffee machine seems to be deliberately labelled as broken down and we have to make our own lipton tea or instant nescafe from a bottle. No cakes at all but a pathetic selection of muffins, puffs, mochi and crepes and once it's empty, they will not refill it. Ice cream is like non existence because they simply put 2 empty tubs from beginning till the end without refilling it even upon request. Some premium food like crabs and oysters are served every 15 minutes only in limited portion and many people have to wait a long time just to get a chance to stand in front of it to snatched. Fyi, there were only a handful of tables of diners only and the food was already not enough. It seems the owner is trying very hard to cut costs to recover his losses during covid. For $50 per head for such limited and poor quality food, my family and I will definitely not return anymore!

Standard has dropped drastically from what I remember them to be. For a buffet that costs over $50, limiting the number of seafood items you can order sounds really penny pinching. Also, oysters weren't fresh and some weren't cold. Also caused me to have diahorrea after the meal probably due to the oysters. Other dishes were also really mediocre in terms of taste and effort put into preparation. The best was Cereal Prawns which is quite similar to what you get at tze char stalls and the smooth Orh Nee which wasn't too sweet and just nice. Service feels a bit rushed and they seem really keen to clear your plates even when there's still food left on it. Also there was a very limited choice of beverages. If you have $50 to spend, I'd probably suggest looking elsewhere.

Really disappointed with the service. We ordered 10 dishes, spent 1.5 hour, only came 4 dishes, end up we decided to pay and leave without wasting our time there for waiting. Food is so so, really not worth the price. 120+ for 2, I can eat better buffet at hotel....

Not worth spending $60 per pax for such a buffet. Limited choice of food. The black pepper crab, sashimi, fresh oyster only limit to 2plate for 2 pax. The food are not fresh, hot dishes are not hot. Limited desserts and drinks.

Very disappointed with the food and service. Used to come with my family 2 years ago and we would frequent Vienna very often. Decided to visit Vienna once again since buffet is allowed but everything from the service staff to the quality of food is disappointing. Sashimi was warm with no ice, cold platter was warm with no ice, very limited variety of food, insufficient food for the crowd (people had to queue and camp for new food to come out from the kitchen) and even coffee machine cannot be used (they place coffee powder for you to make on your own) Overall a terrible experience. Please do not come to this restruant for your meals or you will regret paying $60 per pax for a meal that is not even worth half its price.

Excellent service from both the staffs and whom I would presume the boss of the restaurant. Went for lunch with my family and receive great customer service out of my expectation, the boss specially ensure that my table get certain food by having it serve to us as we were unable to get it from the food section numerous time. He didn’t have to do it but he did and I am impress by this level of service. Highly recommended, lots of different varieties of food and attentive staff to customer needs.

I will never recommend to my friends anymore . The service its very bad & rude attitude from the 2 of staffs. This is 1st time I been here who invited by my friends but met this situation. I took 2pieces chicken to the staff (who name Duba when I ask him, all the staffs without name tag)he asking me where is my table tag with his rude attitude n rude service. When I pass the table tag to duba(staff) yet he throw d table tag on TOP of my food instead clip on the side of the plate. Yet my friends told me that when they go n get their cutlery yet the Indian guy staff who show bad service, those cutlery which wash clean & he throw cutlery inside box. All of us say is it they not happy to working during new year time or they not happy to serving us . The food is not so good . We are coming here to have our meal is not coming here to let your staffs to show us bad service & rude attitude some more is NEW YEAR. Hope to hear from your company ASAP .
